Anyone going to check out Roosevelt tomorrow? Intel if appt is required??
I’m very confused as to if this is a permanent store or a pop up time limited store. There are also rumors, somewhat supported by pictures of the store’s size and current displays, that it is not a full Hermes boutique and will not be offering any bags or SLGs. Hope those who attend will provide more info!

I passed by last week and the windows were all open. I didn’t see any bags or SLGs (could have missed those though). They did have belts and shoes!

Is there a separate thread for stores in NY outside of NYC? Manhasset info has typically been posted in the NYC thread so I assume it makes sense that posts about the Roosevelt store are posted on the NYC thread also.
Isn’t Greenwich also posted about here or is there a separate CT thread. Personally it wouldn’t offend me if all tristate stores were mentioned here.

My point exactly. Typically new store openings have highly coveted bags on display and this store has no bags whatsoever on display. Seems very strange.
With all the smash and grab of luxury stores across the US, maybe the store will display bags on opening day.

By the way, anyone knows if the Roosevelt Field H a franchise like the Manhasset one or corporate store?

Honestly, with stock being at short supply for the 3 existing NYC stores, I'd be amazed if they even considered re-routing bags/RTW there. Especially in light of the September (re)opening of Madison, which will pull quite a bit as it is.
I've always assumed that this is a pop up, with a limited lease, and a way to gauge the interest of the LI crowd that is not willing to go to the city. See what comes of offerings of scarves etc. and go from there, trying to expand a customer base.

If you've got an established and good relationship in NYC, why would you get something from there? Potentially more convenient (for some, and/or occasionally) at the price of your damaging that relationship?
