It’s more of me constantly asking my SA for things and being told it’s not available. I never have received any texts offering me anything and I’ve been loyal and consistent. That’s also the upsetting part.
Most of the things I want aren't immediately available either these days, shoes, SLGs, or jewelry/watches, but my SA would put in transfers or orders and they typically turn up a week or two later for me to try on/purchase. Does your SA at least attempt to help you to procure these items (assuming non-QB)?

I exclusively shop at Madison and every time I’ve asked about a product (shoes, home, bags…) they don’t have it and or have been waiting for stock. I’ve been waiting for an offer on a quota bag for over a year and a half and have purchased over a 1:1. Also looking for some insight here - has anyone gotten lucky recently at Madison? Not sure if I’m being played with here

I haven’t gotten lucky either despite having a pre-spend well over the 2:1 mark. But to be honest, it’s because I’m looking for a pretty hard (mini kelly). My SA is a joy to work with & I love the brand, so I don’t mind waiting. When an item is not available in store, my SA usually does transfers/orders from other stores that have it. Otherwise, I place a deposit for the item if my SA’s manager allows. Hang in there!

I think this year definitely much harder to get quota bags. I had my first quota bag offer in Jan last year. It's now May and my spend ratio is close to 3:1 so far this year but haven't got my first offer this year. My SA is sweet and has been getting me the non-Quota bags I wanted so definitely no complaints. Just need to be patient

I was at Madison today and they had a Mauve Sylvestre Bolide 30 in Epsom on display. They also had at least one Picotin in Clemence on display. Sorry I can’t remember color and didn’t ask what size. they also had the new suitcase on display in multiple colors.

Did you take the January offer? If so, you MIGHT not get another QB offer then..even if your spend ratio is already close to 3:1..if your SA also employs this thing---I was told one QB/year. I have come across multiple SAs who want to do a "rotation thingy" and want to ensure that they offer a bag to everyone on their "loyal & favored clients list"..so they might not offer one client multiple QBs if the other loyal and favored clients have yet to receive theirs..unless of course one becomes a VVIP..then some rules might change for them!

I meant last year (as in 2021) I got my first QB in Jan. This year it's already May and I haven't got an offer yet.

Does anyone know how hard it might be to get a B30 in gold with GHW from an nyc store these days? I was hoping to get a gauge from anyone who might know before asking my SA for my next quota bag. I heard from another SA at a smaller store in a smaller city that any bag in gold is hard to get these days, but wondering if anyone had any intel!

thank you in advance!!

To be brutally honest, in the current environment of stock vs competition, the spending rate of a bit over 1:1 over a year is not going to stand out unless your rapport with the SA is exceptional (which from the sound of it it’s not). I’ve noticed more success with 1-2 big ticket items than small stuff spread out. There is less incentive for the SA to find, reach out and curate a whole bunch of small things for you if they don’t have any special connection towards you beyond other clients (if you’re just like any other client).

Just out of curiosity, what’s a good qb or nqb I should ask for next for someone looking to expand her collection (which consists of mostly neutral colors). It seems like Madison doesnt display a lot of items anyway, and even then I find it hard to try on items given the poor lighting in the basement.

I know it’s different for everyone, but I have a lovely SA who’s totally honest with me & really just offers what I ask (I only ask for neutrals but he knows any other color will not fit my lifestyle). So it becomes difficult to try something new because i’m afraid my qb won’t be the right one for me. Also, I’m getting tired of my collection really (mostly neutrals) but I don’t have it in me yet to bite the bullet on a pop of color (I’m open to pastels, but this is super difficult too).

It's hard to answer this question because it's unclear what your lifestyle is like. For example, I'm a stay at home mom to young kids so I like small crossbody bags so that I can have my essentials on me when I'm running after my kids. I use my mini Evelyne and mini Lindy the most. I also prefer Kellys to Birkins for the same reason. When I was working, I needed larger bags that slung on my shoulder so I could fit my laptop but still be professional, and something easy to carry, like a Victoria or Plume.
