It's a good store with a very nice selection. They often have many bags and wallets. I've seen Bolides, Lindies, Kellies there. Many Garden parties too.

Not too many people at all.

There is a wonderful SA, not sure her name, I think Ipcen. I have her card somewhere, will check it and let you know... There are also many very handsome male SAs, it's really a nice eye candy store :graucho::roflmfao:

You simply MUST check it out! Also the airport H store is also nice. They have GP bags and I've seen a Bolide once. I have bought many ties and silks from this store, and also a wallet.

i just got back from istanbul last week

was at the H store in abdi ipekci cd (nisantasi) on apr 1st
sadly not much inventory there... no kelly, no birkin (at least thats what i was told), no lindy, no medor clutch T____T only a couple of garden parties and a lovely colored evelyne in sort of a pinkish coral color, which i was told is a new season color called... carette(??sp??)
was told last month they got in 2 berlines, but they sold out really quickly.
no CDCs either, but quite a lot of colors for the clic clac bracelets :)
the SA whom I spoke to was very friendly and helpful though with information, not at all snooty or cold. her name is Yeshim (sp??) so definitely look her up coz she's really a nice lady :)

was also at the istinye park H store the night before
pretty much same thing... the SAs in istanbul were really2x nice though, i'm really surprised :)

both stores told me they only take orders for kelly and birkin twice a year? and they're gonna open orders possibly in july or so?

I will be in Istanbul end of may! I'm so excited. I've never been!

We will be in Istanbul Monday-Thurs night and then in Paris Friday and all day Sat. I am on the hunt for a kelly 35 sellier PH supple leather in a light color, maybe white.

Im worried that if i am offered something in istanbul and buy then i will regret if im offered something better in paris at a better price. Would i be able to exchange at FSH if bought in Istanbul?

Do u think my chances are better finding it in Istanbul or Paris? Which country are prices currently better in? Do the H's in Istanbul (other than in the airport) particabate in 'global refund' or tax free shopping?

In my experience H is always cheaper in France than any other Eu country.
In my experience again, you can get tax refund everywhere.

Yes, my lady's name was Yeshim too. She's very nice indeed and extremely professional.
I bought some things from her.

Off course she does and really good.
She's very classy lady, one of the best Hermes Sale Assistants I've ever met. It's pleasure buying from her but its also a pleasure talking and looking at her, she has that sense of Hermes in her if you know what I mean.

so true! "Classy" is the word to describe her, and it IS such a great pleasure to talk to her. She's very Hermes :) Whoever is in the Istanbul Nisantasi store should definitely look for her!

You will be veeeery lucky indeed if you got offered K in Istanbul and Paris.. I scored 2 Bs from paris May last year but it really boils down to luck..
Just dont let the K hunting ruin your holdiday if you dont get any ...
Enjoy Paris.. Its a great great city..

Thank you Keekee!! I know you are very right about not allowing it to spoil the holiday. It would just be an added bonus. Besides I guess the search is part of the fun :)
My fingers are crossed but will enjoy either way!
