The airport team is very sweet. Definitely try your luck. Today, there was a mini Evelyn in black, a mini Bolide in vert moyen on display.

I was there in January and recall the prices for certain SLGs (e.g., bastia) being roughly comparable to Europe (likely cheaper given VAT). However, I can't speak to bags.
