I believe I'm correct in my understanding that prices in Hong Kong and Tokyo are unfavourable compared to Paris - but what about duty free in their respective airports? Should I even take time to look?
Thank our for your input, csetcos; it's hard to go by without looking in, so I'll try to look only and keep my wallet closed until I get to Paris!Still expensive compared to Paris- but if you are after particular things that may be harder to get, you can often score them in duty free.
You can definitely shop, you'll just be paying regular boutique price, not duty free price. Duty free price is only for flights to non-EU destination. HTH.If flying from London to Italy, can you shop at duty free? I know the brexit hasn't been implemented yet....

Can anyone tell me how the price of Dubai duty free as compared to Australia prices?
I'm not familiar with AUD prices but Dubai Duty free is a cheaper than USA prices.
Hi dears, I'll be transiting through heathrow Airport next week. Could someone tell me if Hermès has a store at both T3 and T5, and if it is possible to get a lindy there? Thanks! Xxx
Yes, both T3 and T5 have Hermes boutiques. I transited through in December and it was the cheapest place to purchase Hermes...Even cheaper than France with VAT refund!
If you have a long layover you can utilize the personal shopping service and they can assist you with shopping at both terminals.
I have seen a plethora of bags including roulis, halzan, Evelyne, leather Garden party tpm, Jige, egee, double sens even Constance 24 and 18 but have not seen a Lindy the past three times I was at LHR. There's always goodies in the back just ask the SA if you get a good vibe with them and they will be willing to recite the inventory in the back.
Pricing example: 32 MM belt kit with gold Guilloche buckle and Epsom/Chamonix strap was $627.90 (when currency was converted) compared to the US price with sales tax of $952.60.
All leather garden party was under $2,100.
God bless that duty free pricing and favorable exchange rate!
