Hermes in the DUTY FREE, airport list!

I may be late to the party but I haven’t seen these yet…..So Black Hardware in Noir Tochan (sp?) leather and also in Noir suede. I purchased the Oz Mules and a few other goodies that I’ll share when I arrive at my final destination.
Some other eye candy as well….at Schiphol.

New to Hermes. If I purchase at the airport in Nice will the items have the 20% vat tax? Trying to understand if it’s better to buy in the city store and claim the vat tax back or buy directly at the airport. Also what is the selection like of twillys at airport stores? Thanks!

If you purchase at the airport the VAT has already been deducted from the price.

Typically you will only get at VAT refund of 12%, not the full 20%. Prices at the airport exclude 12% VAT, so in effect you get the refund immediately and do not have to file VAT refund paperwork. Airport stores have very limited selection in general. Usually its better to shop at the main store in a city but you can sometimes find some prior season designs at the airport stores.

Posting incase this is helpful. Frankfurt duty free shopping including Hermes is not duty free and not any cheaper than buying in the city. You get 10% back but then get the vat tax form from global blue and they take another cut so it ends up being no cheaper than if you were to buy in the city. I believe other European airports do not operate this way. Only Frankfurt which is why it is my least favorite airport

Was at CDG Terminal 2E, no bags available. They did have the Brides de Gala Twilly that I couldn't find at FSH or George V. Shoe wise, only saw Orans in white.
