Hi all H lovers,
Just wondering how long does your SA usually take to reply your text message? I usually received reply from my SA 3-7days after I text him. Is it normal nowadays or he just doesn’t bother to reply? Usually my messages were about making appointments with him to pick up items from the store, and checking if the items arrived yet. I started purchasing from the store since last month so I am pretty much a newbie for Hermes.

My SA seldom reply me but I know he reads my message and I know when his off days are. If you want some confirmation just call the store and look for him? If he’s not free you can also ask the person who answered the phone to check on your items.

Hi!! I just want to know if your prespend only stays with the specific boutique with the same SA? I’m just not getting any luck with the current boutique and SA I’m working with.. not sure if I should move on to a diff boutique with a new SA.. any advice would be great.. TIA!!
Your spend is visible across all stores in Australia, but for quota bag mostly it is the SA you work with recommends to store manager.
If you have to change boutique and SA am not sure (others can comment ) but I would assume you would have to start your spend with the new SA too !

Does any Melbournian have any story (good or bad) that they can share on their insurer (for H collection, arts, jewelleries, etc)..
Any tips, advice,.. would be appreciated

I'm weighing the pros and cons of either chubb or contents.. but I'm also considering sdb too

Just a note, I don't have any yet, I'm doing my due dilligence after watching a video about someone's collection that was robbed.

Thanks

Hi guys,
This is my first time joining the forum, hope you all welcome me ☺.
And I have a question. I don't live in Melbourne, but i visited melbourne once and i bought some items at the store hoping to buy a bag. The total amount I pay at 1 same store is about $5000. But there is 1 problem i have. I want to ask for SA's contact but she said if i need anything i just call the store phone number, she don't give me email or personal phone number, this is very different SA from Singapore store. So is that everyone who wants to contact SA calls through the store number or what?
Please let me know.
Thank you so much.
Melbourne Collins St - the SAs are frequently rotating to serve me. The trainee tried giving me her Hermes email but it bounced. Since I am not a**sed to compete with others for a QB so… I usually just queue up and join my fellow poor sods waiting in line.
(they hardly pick up the phone too).

As for trying for a bag in Melbourne...
Seen one of their VICs buy several clothing items and had two assistants to carry out at least 8 big Hermes orange paperbags - to and fro. Unfortunately, 5k isn’t a big spend here and my ‘defacto’ Hong Kong SA (actually VIC friend’s SA) mentioned before: QB - HK or Tokyo > Singapore >Australia.

If you or anyone else really want a bag but frustrated with the process , try the one in Tokyo flagship store or the former biggest one in Ginza , they were more than willing to show me Birkins and Kellys (colours not to my taste) in 2021 with no spend in Japan while I resided there.

(Japan reopens Oct 11)

Hi H lovers,

I am keen in getting my first Hermes bag, a picotin 18. Any idea if pre spend/rapport with SA is required? I know is not a QB but is getting so popular and hard to get nowadays! Anyone ever got the chance of just walk in and get it? Thanks!

Might have better luck in trying the Australian Hermes.com. A couple of times , picotins appear there. My SA told me to get any bag I like from the website if lucky to get it into the cart and make it through payment. That eliminates the need to prespend. Just set up your profile and click around work days (Mon-Friday) to check for bag drops.

I’ve been wanting a Picotin 18 forever and have been staying in contact with a SA in Collins street. Everything I’ve asked for from jewellery to shoes is unavailable so it’s a bit hard to get the pre spend to one on one but I am so close. I saw a Picotin online last week and of course it was sold. I’ll post a pic. It was so beautiful

Yeap think getting a bag straight from the website is as hard as winning the powerball. Have been refreshing the website everyday, few times a day for the past few months and yea whenever there is any bag drop, it just gone within seconds!

Some advise please on my experiences at Hermes Melb.

Been shopping at Hermes Melbourne for 3 yrs + was working with one SA casually who eventually moved on and referred me to another new SA. The new SA I have been working with for a year I would purchase buying ready to wear, Homewear, Shoes etc however never asked me for any of my preferences on a wishlist for a bag. She was abit flaky, early days would make appointments with her to pick up items and she ended up calling in sick but trusted the referral from my previous SA. I would ask for certain pieces and she doesn't seem to help me look for them or call me to pick them up but when I did see her, was genuinely nice to me. Walked into the store randomly one day when she wasn't working at the start of the year to pick up some items from a random SA in Jan who asked if I had made a wishlist for bag preferences. Was so surprised bcoz from the 2 SA's I've worked with + purchased continually from, along with expressing an interest over time for a first Kelly or B, none tried to ask if I had a wishlist going on however I continued making purchasing from the flaky SA as she seemed nice and we got along in person. Email the flaky SA recently and she just doesn't reply now. Could this be due to Christmas leading up + it's the busy period now with borders opened in Aus so more high spenders internationals?
As when I originally starting purchasing from Hermes it was during the beginning of 2020 just before lockdown occurred.

It's all abit tiring and while I do love Hermes products, I'm wondering if it's best to move to a new SA + how do I go about this again?
Should I speak to the store manager and request for one? As if I lined up + walked in randomly again, I would need to start a rship with someone new which means buying small items like perfume or makeup to see if I gel well with one. I know luxury SA's are advocates for you when it comes to being able to be offered a bag, very similar to the way Chanel SA's work for hard to score items. They need to be able to fight for your case or have a great standing rship with their manager so if you end up with a poor SA who doesn't have a good rapport with their own manager, it's tough to score anything.
Any tips or questions should I ask to know if I'm dealing with a good SA at Hermes?
What are people's experiences at the Melbourne Hermes store when it came to being offered a quota bag?

Many thanks.
