Hi guys,
This is my first time joining the forum, hope you all welcome me ☺.
And I have a question. I don't live in Melbourne, but i visited melbourne once and i bought some items at the store hoping to buy a bag. The total amount I pay at 1 same store is about $5000. But there is 1 problem i have. I want to ask for SA's contact but she said if i need anything i just call the store phone number, she don't give me email or personal phone number, this is very different SA from Singapore store. So is that everyone who wants to contact SA calls through the store number or what?
Please let me know.
Thank you so much.
I think it may be similar all around Australia…though..how long ago did you purchase from Melbourne? I would think until you actually deal with the same SA for awhile not many are keen to give you their direct mobile number….I live interstate and I used to contact my SA via the store phone and until a certain period of dealing with him I asked for his email then much later I asked for his mobile for texting to touch base or request for items but I never called the mobile. Until now I still call the store to look for him. Hermes SA here so not use whatapp unlike in Singapore. Hope that clarifies…

It might be different between stores & SA.
I live interstate and from my personal experience, my SA gave me her mobile & email on our first encounter. We primarily communicate over emails, I never contact her on the mobile number unless encouraged to by herself.

I assume that they're allowed to determine and set boundaries as they see fit.

Thank you for let me know. I bought some tablewares, shoes last month, I ordered 1 blanket and just payment yesterday. So do you think I should change new SA?

Thank you so much. But, my SA she didn’t get me her email address , Do you think I need to change new SA when she do that

Nah I would call the store to look for her and if she’s not around perhaps as what are the days she work and if it was possible to get her email and go from there? Depends also if she’s causal or full time as that also plays a part if you are looking to have a long term relationship…

I contact my SA on her personal number or email. I have never contacted the store to reach her. I shop at the Chadstone boutique. I don't know if this is different at the Melbourne boutique. My SA has has what's app and I have contacted her on it before.

I would 100% change to another SA.

This happened to me. I spent $3000 with one SA at the Melbourne City boutique and asked for the SA's contact details. She told me to contact the store directly and ask for her or ask for her at the door. I spent another $2000 on the next visit and once again asked for her direct contact details. I was told the same thing. One my third visit I spent $3000 and was once again told the same thing.

I went to the Chadstone boutique and spent $3000 and asked the SA for her contact details. I was given this.

After shopping with the SA a few more times I shared my experience and the SA told me that every SA has an email and phone number and they give it out at their discretion. There is no company policy surrounding this.

If I had my time over I would have changed sooner.

I travel a lot and my SA contacts me on WhatsApp and WeChat.

Hi there! I’m heading up to Melbourne next week and was curious how the retail stock has been; have they had anything interesting of late?
I saw the Goyave bride a brac in the large size recently and if you're into marble silk, they had doll, regular twilly and the 90cm available. This was all at Collins. Chaddy is worth the visit too if you head that way.

SLGs have been low but depends what you're looking for. It's always fun to visit interstate stores!

I don't follow quota bags so don't know about that.

Thank you!

I’m open to options so just wanted to see if they’d be worth a visit!

I haven’t been following H in the past couple of years so I don’t know what are QBs and non-QBs anymore other than C, B & K

Hi Everyone!

I'm fairly new to the H Journey, this thread/community has given me so much tips and knowledge so far (thank you!), I want to see whether I can get some opinion on my dilemma on bag/spending choices:

I'm not really in the market for a B/K/C right now, because there isn't much occasion for me to wear them. I prefer practical bags that hold a lot and can be worn as an under-arm bag, hence I've been eyeing for a Lindy 26 in a neutral color for some while (not necessarily the three most popular tones). From my info gathering it seems like it's been really hard to be offered a Lindy 26 in Melbourne at the moment either due to stock shortage or increasing popularity upping the pre-spend ratio requirement.

My dilemma is that I have two friends (long-time H shoppers) kept telling me it should be a pure non-QB without needing strict pre-spend ratio. I am willing to spend on other Hermes items as I do like them (shoes, jewelries, tableware etc.) and I have already spent around 7k+ (that includes a Picotin 22) across two SAs (changed half way but planning to stay with the current one). However I'm torn whether I should spend so much money (to 1:1) on a supposedly non-QB. The same friends suggested that I may as well put B/K/C on my wish list if I intend to spend the dollars. The only one I might consider right now is a mini Constance, which to me is the most practical out of the three. But I've heard that Melbourne is so competitive at the moment especially the city boutique where I shop at.

What are your thoughts on that? Should I just altogether re-start at Chaddy or add C onto my wish list so I don't "waste" my spends? Thanks in advance <3

I vote for a C!
