Hermes in Melbourne, AUS

Hi guys! Just wondering if anyone could give me some opinions here (Since I'm also from Melbourne!)
I'm fairly new to Hermes, but I've been starting to shop in H since January, buying from the same SA
I didn't calculate how much I spent in total so far but I've purchased some shoes, cashmere scarfs, SLGs and a rose gold ring from fine jewelry section
I finally told my SA I would like to get a Birkin 30, back in June and she told me to send her an email about the specs I wanted, which I did

A month or two later, I sent her another short email again to make an appointment (this was before Melbourne lockdown) because I wanted to buy something else - didn't mention anything about bag at all

She's very kind and polite always very patient, I'm not a very chatty person but I feel we get along well
We normally contact via emails, she's usually slow at responding (1-2 days after) but she still replies my email
However she has not replied my email at all since I said I wanted a Birkin (2 of my emails)

I'm just curious what is happening
Could it be because she has no plan in offering me a bag at all?
Or my friend said... maybe she's waiting for shipment from Paris...

I don't know if she will offer you a Birkin or not. But in my experience, SAs are usually hesitant to discuss Bs/Ks/Cs via text or e-mail. I was thinking they probably don't want any "proof" or "misinterpretation" that they promised anyone something, as maybe someone could use it in court or say that a contract or promise was unfulfilled? I am not a lawyer and I am not sure about this but I was just trying to put some logic behind it.

I’m also starting my new Hermes journey. Was never into the buying history prior to bag as the bag itself was already such an expensive purchase but coming to reality now after much research. Understand that without the spending history and good relationship with SA there’s no other Way to get the bag unless I travel to Paris which is out of the question now. However I’m so surprise to see the spending history of a few of your lovely ladies and yet to receive a bag. I was quiet confident now that I’m ready, a 1:1 will get me on board for a b30/k28. If after reading some of your comments it seems like it’s 2:1 is still on wait.

2.5:1 can still be on wait for a year +

I think it is taking longer and therefore more spend now as there is not much stock due to the pandemic.

I've learnt to be very patient.
My SA is an absolute blessing and I've learnt to trust her.
There are times where days gone by that she doesn't reply, but overtime I've learnt that she is either too busy/waiting for shipment but she has taken notes of what I'm after. And when she does eventually reply, she's always got something I wanted / knew I'd be interested on hold for me.

In saying that, they all have different personalities and seem to work differently so I'd say trust your instinct. Hopefully you'll find your feet in this relationship or the right person.

Totally agree...Im in Brisbane and most things I ask they always dont have...but some ppl get to buy online and next thing you see it's on the resellers site...

No..the dark green was stunning...but was gone in seconds...and sometimes can search the stock but now not sure if something is wrong with the website but cannot search anymore...I even tried to search for rodeos....

Actually some of the things I want are available online but not in-store, but I'm not sure if I buy online will offend the SA or affect me getting a quota bag or not.. since they can see what I buy online too..

Well if you find the item you like ask ur SA if they have in store if not see if they can order for you?

Yeh! I think there is some sort of paid service that lets u know as soon as the website is updated. That’s how others are getting them soo quickly.

I really want a mini roulis. Fingers too slow everytime

But whenever I see something I like available on the Australian website, I email my SA.
I know stock at times can be transferred from another store.
Again, it depends on your SA and your relationship.

My SA never offer so I decided to just order it myself, since I really like it I'm scared it'll be gone and not available anymore
