I don't think they have waitlist anymore, I think sometimes they just take your name and details to be polite, and even if they do I don't think you would actually get offered a bag unless it was something like a B35 or K35 in an unpopular colour, something that their clients with buying history want. If you want a birkin in Melbourne you need a buying history with your SA. From what I have taken from friends and my own experience most people spend 0.75 to 1:1 to get offered a bag, more if you want smaller bag, or you are very picky with colour and leather.Morning Hermes Lovers - I need your help!
I'm looking at buying a Birkin in Melbourne and wondering the BEST way to go about it.
Does anyone know if they have a waitlist still / how long the waitlist would be?
Also - I believe it is around $12k for a Birkin 30 in Togo in the UK is that the same as Aus?
Kicking myself as a couple of years ago the SA in Melbourne (who doesn't work there anymore) offered me one but I declined!!
Thanks in advance for your help!
I think a B30 is about $16k in Australia, maybe more since there was just a price increase.
