Offered again sparkling water, which I drank gratefully. And when she reappeared with the box, we went to a table at one corner of the floor. I was again holding my breath and/or breathing in shallow waters, not good if you are trying not to faint. She was saying something but I couldn't understand because I was so focused on the box. And I saw at the side of the box, Kelly Cut! Yes! Then she said as she was opening the box that they do not have a red but... Out slid this reptile and I believed I let out a slight squeal. It was and still is so breathtakingly beautiful. I remember the sun shining through the glass on her when the SS held her every so gently with gloved hands and showing me the smooth porosus crocodile in colvert. As soon as we reached our hotel room, the hubby and I spent some time admiring her before storing it away in the hotel room's safe throughout my remaining days there. Hello. Finally time to post my recent haul from our recent trip to HI, before I bundle the silks off for specialist cleaning. Went to HI for our 10th year wedding anniversary for a 10 day sun sea and sand adventure. Hubby suggested that we check out the flagship store and we were there a few days into our trip, bright and early before 1030 am. As soon as we stepped in to the store, we were greeted so warmly by the sales team there, and one particular sales specialist stepped forward to assist us. I asked for the exclusive Sea Surf and Fun, Hermes in Waikiki. She was very happy I know of it. I wore it immediately for the traditional dinner and dance that evening. We started chatting more, like our trip to HI and she telling us more about the flagship store etc. I asked also for a beach tunic and the bleu etrusque colour suit me perfect, more than I thought the colour would. I wore it throughout our remaining days at HI. Lastly, I asked for a smooth alligator compact bearn wallet in a colour that she had but when she took out the orange poppy one with gold hardware, I was sold. Of course, I started using the wallet thereafter. Good thing I had a pouch made of Kimono material and so I stored the wallet in the pouch in my Constance. Yes, I always have a pouch for every leather good esp exotic ones :smile: I enquired if there was a certain wishlist item available and she said that she would take note of my request. At the end of our hour long presence at Hermes , before heading for dimsum lunch at Tim Ho Wan, hubby and I were impressed with the friendliness of the sales team there and also the size of the flagship store. The new mini Lindy? I highly doubt it as it sounds like each store will only be getting a handful of them at release. My Vegas (touristy) store said their list for this bag is over 100 people long of established clients and they only expect to receive a single digit amount in 2019. No harm in asking them though!
