I was just there a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately I was with family so didnt stop by the new Waikiki store. It looks nice from the outside. I did go into the Ala Moana store. They have started to receive some winter rtw and shoes. The bag section seemed to be pretty well stocked even though I was very specific about what I was looking for - was given a couple of options to pick from. I havent been in 2 years so I did find the SAs to be more friendly than in the past. An interesting fact, their computer system is linked up to the rest of the US. I had asked for a croc bag and the SA put my name in the system and my profile from another store popped up.Heading to Oahu in a week - anyone been to either store recently who can share how it’s looking? My SA is at Ala Moana but I’m dying to see the new Waikiki store!

Any luck?? I leave Friday for Oahu. I'm praying to the bag Gods I come back with something. Thanks! That’s interesting. I also haven’t been in two years but I emailed the SA who helped me last time and happy that she’s still there. Trying to be more disciplined about my purchases and hoping to get a K or B that I can use everyday this time around.
Supply is theoretically lower worldwide in August due to the craftspeople, who live in France, being on the August holiday.Does the time of the year affect stock levels in Hawaii? I’ve heard others mentioning that August should be avoided as this is the holiday season for France, but does this apply to Hawaii stores too?
Please share your experiences with purchases in August! Thank you

My guess is it might affect all stores bc the artisans are not working.Does the time of the year affect stock levels in Hawaii? I’ve heard others mentioning that August should be avoided as this is the holiday season for France, but does this apply to Hawaii stores too?

I was offered my C24 no prior purchases in Aug so I don’t think that’s true (one data point though so take w grain of salt). Ala Moana had some A/W merch, nice variety of Oran, Garden Party, no B/K/C I could see being offered though. Am going to try to check out Waikiki before dinner tonight.
Please let us know how you go!
x2!! Please let us know!! I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Waikiki and heading straight to the store after landing. I"m hoping to build good rapport with an SA. I have a week, so fingers crossed.
Try going to Waikiki store right at opening time, less likely to be crowded.Picked up Animapolis (the crazy one with bright colors, forget the CW exactly but I practically shrieked when she opened it up, had to take it home) and debating about Mountain Zebra in CW1. No luck on B or K at Ala Moana but I am looking for bigger sizes and I heard that they generally stock smaller sizes here since the Asian tourists favor them.
Wasn’t able to try at Waikiki, it was pretty busy and my baby started to lose her cool so we had to jet. I was offered a matte croc cactus Calvi and I saw another group with some rodeos. Lots of clic clacks to choose from.
This is our first vacay w our baby and I’m learning that it’s really hard to do serious shopping w a LO couldn’t spend the QT at the stores like I wanted to.

OOOh, Maybe I'll try Waikiki first then Ala Moana. I'm glad to hear they stock smaller sizes, I have a 35 Birkin and 32 Kelly and am dying for a 25 or 30 Birkin and a 25 or 28 Kelly. Babies are definitely difficult to shop with... Mine are 10 and 6 now and I was losing my mind shopping yesterday. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're not.Hoping you get lucky next time you try!
