Hi all was in Waikiki and visited both stores. Both stores had great stock and I was offered a Constance at both locations (!!) without even asking, but declined. I did ask for a Kelly 28, the SA made no mention of a pre-purchase requirement and offered to call me if one came in. The stores also had plenty of Lindys and other bags. Happy shopping ladies!

That is such good news. What are the specs of the 2 Constances may I ask? Have you left for your trip already and will just fly in again to get the Kelly if they call you?

^ I think they get quite a good amount of Constances. I was in Honolulu last July, Christmas, and last month. Each time, I witnessed customers picking up a Constance or being shown one.

Hi! Sorry for the late reply, just got back from our trip! I went to the Ala Moana store around 3 pm on a Thursday. I was shown a Constance 24 in a burgundy red color (sorry don't know the actual name) and the lady next to me was shown a 24 in a orange color. At the Waikiki store the next day around the same time the SA said he had a Constance 24 but I didn't ask what color. I also saw a Kelly pochette at that store in Orange. The SAs at both stores said they had gotten lots of shipments that week!

Were you at the store each time on weekdays? just wonder if they have delivery only on weekdays. Was it mostly constance mini? if you can recall? do you need prepurchase in order to be offer? Thank you very much.

I usually fly in Sunday and leave 4-5 nights after. I didn't ask but I'm assuming delivery is weekday thing. They kept updating the displays with new things they get and there's always something nice or interesting. For an example, the last visit to Waikiki they had a Ghillies Kelly wallet in rose sakura.

I think Constances I saw were all 24. You don't need prepurchase. Customers who were seeing them had just walked in and SAs brought them out from stock room. Some SAs informed me they have them when I didn't even ask.

Then I am guessing weekdays would be better to increase the chance. I have been offered Ghillies Kelly wallet in Europe, they are really pretty and unique, but the color is a little too light.

OMG! it's constance 24? I am dying to get that bag, almost went the reseller route before I see the recent posts on this thread. If the purpose is mainly for Hermes shopping, would you suggest that staying at a hotel on Waikiki is the best choice? Thanks.

I've only stayed at Waikiki hotels. I was at Royal Hawaiian last trip and found it convenient to just pop in at H at the shopping center next to it whenever I head out for things to do.

I actually got my last Rodeo by doing so. I decided to have a quick last minute browsing few hours before my flight and they had one. I do think they sort of hide these horses though. They no longer put them on the display and different SAs say different things. While general feel of Honolulu SAs are quite nice and much more willing than other cities, they still do play certain H games.

Oh yes, staying close does make it much easier to pop in Hermes, especially compared to staying at Oahu or Maui island which would take you much more time to get to the store. Of all the H stores I went(I have been to more than 10 around the world), I have never seen rodeo on display. Different SA does say different things, and the policy like quota, stock, etc all varies according to different sa. So it's really crucial to meet a nice SA.

I would be thankful as long as they don't play the game as terrible as other H, asking you to spend an incredible amount (like the equivalent of a B/K on non-leather items) before they are willing to offer. I just read a few pages back on this thread of another TPFer saying that the SA said that Hawaii gets the largest stock beside France. If so, Hawaii definitely is a much better place to visit compare to Guam.

Thank you for the sharing, really appreciate.
