Hi, congratulations on your purchase. Do you mind sharing whether you have pre-existing relationship or purchase history with Hermes Honolulu? And which store did you purchase? Thank you.
No, this was my first time shopping at Hermes in Hawaii. They saw I had a purchase history at another store (my store) but explained to me that they don't like to take away customers from other stores. I explained to SA that I travel a lot and that's how I get most of my purchases since I do not have a store in my city.
when do you plan to be there?
Looking to visit Hawaii end of this month for 4 days, has anyone recently been able to score a Constance/whether there are many received by the store??
i managed to solve my - *cough* - "problem" by having the store send my desired scarf (the last of its kind
) to a friend in the US, who then forwarded it to me.thank you & enjoy your trip!
It's super easy to score b/k in Hawaii and Las Vegas
Both Hawaii shops would tell you their b/k stock over the phone and alert you on how much accessory to buy in order to get the b/k. Constance and KP are just easy to come by there too. Go see Jenny at Waikiki and Rie at Ala Moana. My hubby and I each opened up an account there. Before our trip to Hawaii, we would know beforehand what we were getting and we get all kind of goodies like constance and KP throughout the year as well, Pre-purchase on b/k is a must though, like couple thousand usd would get you a etoupe kelly 28. My best friend is an oversea flight attendant and she shop with both shops also with her own name and hubby's name. Over the last 3 years, she scored not only regualr b/k but also the ultra-rare bubblegum pink kelly 25 sellier with only a rose gold CDC, her silver buckle turquoise birkin 30, she spent less than 2000 USD on accessory and that includes a bunch of H-clic and 140 shawl of which she can resell at great value in our home country. Her very first bag is a Mykonos kelly sellier, also bought with a few H-clic and little scarf. Hawaii is not only a vacation paradise but also birkin and kelly paradise. Over the few years, we were giving electric bolide 27, rose sakura bolide 27 orange constance elan, blue izmir elan and mini constance, mangune elan!!!

Dear: Is it still true in 2016? Has the rule changed? will they still tell you up front how much you need to spend and show you what they have that day? afterall, you don't want to spend couple thousand USD only to find out the b/k they have isn't what you want.

Yes. This is indeed still true. My hubby and I and my friends shopped with Hawaii shops since 2012. A few thousand USD is very little when it comes to pre-purchase, so even if we ended up not given the bag we wanted, we would grab it anyway.

I only get over to Oahu once a year or so now, but I always make a stop in the Ala Moana and Waikiki boutiques. Even if the ticket price is comparable to the 48 contiguous, HI general excise tax is 4.5%, which lower than most other states... so, small price break? lol

Thanks so much for the info! have made a few purchases at Hawaii over the past few years but didn't know you can call to ask for stock. including a b35 bleu atoll last year
Will be in honolulu tmr and hoping for a constance by walk in...
