Not under my name for sure 😀
I will be visiting Hawaii end of July and would like to get B25. This is my 3rd year shopping with my SA. First year I spent 2k and got mini bolide plus Constance Slim. Then I got C18 for second visit with 7k spending. So my question is would the total 9k will contribute to my QB this time? TYSM
FYI. I believe C18 is considered a quota bag in hawaii (though not the case in most US stores ).

Probably not. Hawaii has gotten pretty difficult and I’ve heard the min non leather spend for a quota bag is 2:1.
Agree with @acrowcounted. IMO, demand is still quite high, and unfortunately 2:1 spend is not considered particularly noteworthy in the US these days. In other words, I wouldn’t spend 2:1 and automatically assume a bag offer is forthcoming in a vacation destination. Unless I had an unusually close, ongoing, and candid relationship with a Hawaii SA, I’d just as soon throw that spend towards my home store (if my primary purpose is QB acquisition).

Note: different profiles under spouses names etc. can be seen as a relatively common subterfuge esp. if other contact info, email, cell, mailing addresses are the same. I’ve been told Hermes is paying closer attention to this practice. I would say the exception would be if an SA encourages you to openly create a secondary profile bc your spend is healthy enough to support it and if there is a bonafide reason, like both spouses shop lavishly in distinct metiers. JMO of course.

Hi all! Just chiming in to contribute on my experience. I was in Hawaii from 7/22 to 8/11 and visited both Ala Moana and Waikiki stores.

Based on advice from the forum, I decided to try my luck at Waikiki. I went at the beginning of my trip with my husband (our honeymoon) and he made an account. We made a few purchases. He and the SA seemed to hit it off and she asked what bags I was looking for. I said a mini lindy, mini 24/24, or mini bolide in any color that’s not noir, gold, or etoupe. I also expressed interest in a KTG or CTG. Throughout our trip, we shopped with her three times, but she kept saying that she didn’t have anything to offer us.

I then decided to go to Ala Moana but didn’t make a purchase. I walked in with my Halzan and asked to see charms and was immediately, but kindly, told no charms and no bags. SA was nice though and we chatted about my Halzan.

On the last day of my trip I decided to say bye to my SA in person (we were walking by) and she apologized that she couldn’t offer me anything this time, but to give her a heads up when I come next as I’d be a more established client. This makes me feel that unless I spent substantially, I wouldn’t have gotten an offer as they like you to prove you aren’t a one-time tourist/customer.

As a last ditch effort to make me happy, she did offer an exotic Roulis, but I’m not a Roulis fan plus I already have a yellow colored bag. Anyway, just sharing that my conclusion after “trying my luck” was that it just opened up anxiety and disappointment. Unless it’s Paris where magic can happen, I think sticking to your home store is better! Unless of course you’re planning to move to Hawaii!!!

Very interesting! Did she mention what bags she could offer before that exotic roulis and do you mind sharing your prespend ratio for a mini lindy or mini bolide?

Nope! She never mentioned any bags that could be offered. She did say though that they get a lot of neutrals and not as many colors as you would expect from a tropical location. There was sometimes hope for a CTG or KTG but nothing materialized. I know it was a reach for the mini lindy  as I got my first B offer last year and asked for a colorful ML wayyyy before that and am still waiting! DH spent 5k at Waikiki in different categories. We would have spent more if we were getting better vibes, but I kept hearing “on your next visit” so we decided not to invest more time in it and just enjoy other things. Our SA was really cool though! I’ll reach out to her on my next trip, but hopefully my home store will come through way before then!!;)
