hihi, it was all within one year items including RTW, fashion jewelry and shoes.
I think you have a good chance if you spend another 7-10k like mentioned above, and predominantly in big-ticket items. I’d probably avoid shoes. Ask your SA for recommendation, they will give you indication. My SA ended up being quite frank with me on what bag is available but I’ve been with the same SA for a few years now and visit multiple times a year.

Thank you so much. I'll do that and ask SA what he needs/wants me to spend $$ on. haha glad I asked your advice here on forum.

What I mean is ask your SA for recommendation only… not ask them what item to spend on to get a QB. 😂 A good SA would show you the newly arrived or special pieces they feel fits your style. I’ve rejected what they recommended a number of times because I had something set in mind, but find myself putting those items in my wishlist in future after researching on them a bit more. A good SA would balance your style, interest, and profile for a QB. Hope yours is like that!

Thank you to all the ladies for your heartfelt advice. I'm looking forward to my upcoming trip, and if anything noteworthy happens, I will be sure to share my story with you. However, due to the unfavorable currency exchange rate, I will likely wait until the fall to seriously pursue any QB opportunities. Thanks again! xx

Getting the first QB is always hard. I remember getting my first QB in Hawaii was a real playing game. That was my second time in the store and pre spending was about $5K. During my second visit, at the beginning I purchased a fine jewelry on the first day of arrival, and when I was checking out, the SA tested me and asked "we probably don't have the bag you want, do you still want to buy the piece?" I was hesitated, but hubby said just buy it as a anniversary gift even no bag, so I still bought it. After walking out of the store I was super disappointed and was thinking I probably shouldn't have started the H journey here.
On the following days every day I texted the SA and every day I got a reply saying "still not seeing the bag you want".
On the day before I left (flight was 8am the second day, so not able to go to store on the day of departure), I texted the SA at around 5pm as the last trial, and then got the call asking me to come to the store at 6:30pm. When I arrived, the bag was there. Not something on my wishlist, but at least a QB.

I know the game is awful. I'm not saying you should buy all $25K stuff, but not buying anything after hearing no bag is not good. My SA said they once had a client who got the QB on the first day and then returned all the stuff except for the QB on the following days, so they tend to offer the bag before you leave.
This sounds so familiar to my experience last fall! Was visiting for 5 days, went on day 3 of my stay and got some gifts for friends, home goods shoes and jewelry for myself total $3k spend. Mentioned a few bags I liked (Constance, Kelly elan) and got a text to come in the night before I was flying out. Went straight from hotel-> store —> airport 😅 was just a CTG but was happy to accept my first H “bag”

Got my 2nd quota bag and it’s Kelly25 phw with a pop of color. I wanted b25 but unfortunately there was no stock available during the weeks I stayed. Spent much more than I expected due to the item I decided to purchase and reached 2:1 pre-spend.

I wonder the pre-spend is much different in mainland.

Good luck anyone who is planning to shop in Hawaii!
Congrats on the K25! May I ask if you purchased at Ala Moana or Waikiki? I'm going to Hawaii later this year and hoping to score a QB 🤞

I’m in Waikiki for the week on vacation and was wondering if there’s Hawaii-specific items that the Hermes store carries that is unique to that store? I’m not expecting a giant “aloha” on a silk scarf but if there’s a brand that could pull off elegant souvenirs, I figured it would be H lol. My mom is dog sitting while I’m on vacation so I wanted to bring her back something special. I’m also trying to get my “fix” of H shopping without necessarily cheating on my home SA on the mainland lol.

The Waikiki boutique did have Hawaii-specific items when they had their grand opening a few years ago, but to my knowledge there isn't anything now. Though not on topic, Ron Herman (in the Moana Surfrider) has some beautiful "Spinelli Kilcollin" jewelry that is exclusively designed for that location.
