I'm confused why anyone would think $5k as a first time client, presumably on a well established profile of another store in the same country, would net any kind of bag offer? I mean, try your luck I guess if you're okay with "throwing your money away" instead of putting it with your home SA, but to be disappointed and anxious?

Did you spend all $5k on the first visit and then just stop by to say "hi" the other 2-3 times?
Ouch. Lol.

I was only trying to share a data point with the community, not be made to feel like an idiot.

Sorry, wasn't trying to make you feel like an idiot. I just really don't understand why its thought that certain stores will give up bags like this. Every store has their "local" loyal established clients with whom a new person would be competing. I get that sometimes people stop in a new store while on vacation to get a little "souvenir" and hope for the best but expectations should probably be managed and kept extremely low. Also, if you stopped by more than once without buying anything, the SA probably isn't going to be too thrilled to continue the relationship next time. idk, jmho and definitely a good data point for other readers. :flowers:

Thanks. No, I didn’t stop by without buying, except the last time. I recognize that it gave me more anxiety than fun, but naively I was on my honeymoon and thought I may have luck with something. The SA and my husband hit it off and were texting outside of H convos, right from the start, so I was just feeling good vibes. It started with getting a honeymoon souvenir but then I got hopeful. Obviously, didn’t pan out, but I thought it may be good to share with others that 1) they order a lot of neutrals and 2) there was emphasis on offers coming on a “second trip.” The exotic Roulis was also a fun offer though and I had a good time, so all is good!

I stopped by there in July and asked to see their Bikini inventory and as the SA rifled through a nearly empty drawer was told "we don't get many swimsuits" I was like "...but....but...this is Hawaii...??"

But she said she wasn't shopping with her own profile, rather a new profile of her husband's. I also got the sense that she would have been happy with a CTG/KTG and did love what they bought with 5K. It definitely didn't sound like money thrown away!

A SLG would have been cool! But I forgot to add that we were also offered (and declined) a Space Malice!:lol::lol:

Congrats on that offer of a roulis, it's gorgeous! Sounds like you and hubby hit it off with an SA, and you can always try again next time you're there. TBH, I think in every US store (even tourist heavy destinations like Waikiki/LV) it's at least 2x or 3x for ratio.

If you’re in the market for outerwear or equestrian wear though... they seem to be well stocked there 🤣🤣 not sure why they don’t get much beachwear for men or women, given it’s Hawaii!

@skybluesky - I agree with your comments. I don’t think it’s a matter of first or second trip, it’s a matter of connection with SA and spend, as is with every other store, and the spend is comparable to other stores in the us.

I think sometimes they say next time/next trip to be polite. In reality they have a ton of repeat/home clients in addition to tourists hoping to get lucky

Just got back from Hawaii. Very low stock now especially for quota bags. My SA told me NO BK before my trip started so I knew I won't get any quota bag this time. Spent 1k and my SA offered mini Roulis but I declined. Hope to get B25 next time 😀
Hi There! was this your second time visit or you've been shopping with this SA for couple years? Thank you!
