All - I am going to Hawaii next month and looking to open an account to score a B/K. Understand I need to pre-spend…
Which store should I give a try? Which date do they usually get shipment (e.g., weekday / weekend) Any particular sales person I should avoid? Welcome any suggestions / intel. Thank you very much in advance.

Waikiki caters to the tourists more than the Ala Moana store. Trying to score a B/K on your first visit would be very difficult unless you are spending a lot of money. Hermes also shuts down production in Aug, so inventory might not be in your favor.

Just coming back with an update but not really usual info.

I honestly wasn’t feeling going into the store at all. Waikiki/Honolulu was SO crowded there in general. We typically go in April and December and it’s never been this crowded. For the first few days we stayed close enough to walk to Waikiki store but i still didn’t go in. I honestly had more time enjoying down time and not the hustle and bustle. I didn’t want to start “trying” for a bag because that would’ve been my whole trip lol and my husband and son wouldn’t have been happy at all. Once I start something I don’t stop until I’m finished  Sorry I don’t have info on what was there. Here’s one pic, although not a good one, that I took one of the days we drove by the store lol. The windows were cute!

Totally agree. And I think this idea of “scoring” in Hawaii as a first time visitor or walk in seems to be a thing of the past. The stores operate just like any other and are often more competitive with the insane volume of tourists + repeat clients.

FWIW, I have also found ala moana had better stock overall during my last 2 visits? got lucky finding a non QB I wanted and some fun home items.

I'm headed to Hawaii next week and thinking of making an inter-island trip to visit Waikiki H... has anyone been recently and do they have any good stock? Have passed on the hassle of inter-island flying the last few times because I'd heard there wasn't much in stock (Covid?) but hoping things are back to more of what they were pre-pandemic? Of course I'd love a B, but I'm much more likely to look for an Evie (TPM or PM) or or a Picotin or perhaps a less in-demand bag.

Stock is still pretty poor. I definitely wouldn’t waste a day and the money and hassle just to try my luck.
