hmmm that's strange. are you buying from one SA and following so-called protocols? In my opinion, if you are working with one SA directly, you should let your SA know your wishlist and ask how it's going
Yes! I did two shopping trips since I moved here last month. First trip 3k, last trip 5k. Also got some men’s RTW hoping that would help. My SA is really nice and txts me- she just got back from vacation and sent me a message saying anything small she will text me if something comes in.. so we’ll see.

You shopping at Waikiki or Ala Moana? Probably wont get a QB offer being that new, but should be getting other things if you asked for them.

yes, if your SA is nice and you two have been connected in the way then she will definitely offer you one when there are available stocks.

I visited both H stores during my first visit to Hawaii this week. I skimmed quickly in the ala Moana store and saw that they had a very good selection of men’s shoes (plenty of teddy chypres in a variety of colors and even exotic chypres). I honestly didn’t even check out women’s because I already intended on shopping at the Waikiki store (after reading on here that they cater more to tourists) to build a relationship with an SA there. I was fortunate enough to come across the nicest SA I’ve ever met at any Hermes store. I had shopped every day with him in the hopes of an offer. On my first day there, I had arrived 15 minutes prior to closing. I didn’t want to lose any chances or days of obtaining a bag. The SA was very straightforward and asked me what I was looking for. Kelly pocket strap-sadly informed me they had one 3 days ago in gold and sold it. Dogon duo wallet- had a couple of them last week but they all sold as well. Kelly pocket wallet in a bright color- he didn’t have it but he offered me a Constance slim in mauve pale which I bought with a lucky belt to go with it. As it was getting close to closing time I asked if it was okay if I return the next day to shop with him which he was so kindly to let me know his schedule for the week and when I would like to come. He did also ask me for a wishlist. He was upfront and told me k,b,c were very challenging to get because one, I wasn’t staying long and secondly, that they decide who to offer bags to based on if they already have an established SA and what they may already have obtained in their profile. He did also say that they do consider bag offers to tourists who haven’t been able to obtain one and are shopping at their store. And also, their store is allocated more neutral tones than colors. He had asked if I was interested in Constance to go, Kelly to go, Halzan, picotin or bolide if he came across any. I said I would be interested in Kelly to go and Constance to go depending on color. As I checked out I noticed a navy Bride a brac behind the counter. I had asked if he had another one in a more neutral tone. He left and came back with the perfect one. I didn’t feel rushed at all while I was there. I returned the next day and purchased teddy mules (sold out every else) a pair of orans (they had plenty of colors), some lip oils, a bucket hat and a Pegasus in craie and vert fizz and gold wings. He offered me the charm seeing that it would match the b25 craie I was carrying. He did tell me he had checked for any handbags but unfortunately their weren’t any that I liked. The next day he called to offer a limited edition bolide on wheels in bleu saphir with orange wheels. I politely declined that although it was a limited edition piece it was too unique for me and someone else would love it more. The next day was his day off but he went the extra mile to check to see if there was anything for me as he did have to come in for one appointment. It was a pleasure shopping at the Waikiki store and I can’t wait to return, far more abundant in inventory than some other Hermes stores I’ve visited and they’re allowed to sell their display items! I’ve been to a fair share of Hermes stores and all the ones I’ve visited in Europe, items are not for sale in their display cases. Happy shopping on your future visit to H in Hawaii.

Thank you for the update!

This year is particularly tough for Hermes Waikiki.

I have been working with a lovely SA since 2020, who has gotten me a C24, B25 and C18 in past years–all in neutral colors with rose gold hardware.

I was unable to get anything this 8-day visit, even though I have spent over $20k in fine jewelry, RTW and homeware since my last bag. This is the only US boutique I shop at, and I never buy any other bags or small leather goods.

I’ve been waiting since the first half of 2022 and have visited Waikiki three times since then for a week each time, but no luck.

Fortunately there’s a lot to enjoy in Hawaii and I plan to be a long-term Hermes client, but the wait has been long indeed.

Can anyone who has been able to get offered a mini kelly at Waikiki share their approximate prespend? Being a flagship do they get more inventory of MKs than other locations?
Honestly it’s probably more about length of being a client than it is pure spend with Waikiki. I’d be shocked to hear anyone with less than at least a 3-5 year relationship getting a mini Kelly at Waikiki without furniture level ($100k+ repeatedly) spend. All stores are limited to a max quantity of buying any specific item at podium so no, being a flagship doesn’t directly help.
