I spent the total in both stores. I’m not looking for a QB. I was just looking for a Picotin or TPM. I’m not ready for a QB just yet.
I think if you stuck with the Waikiki store and expressed interest in the bags you were looking for you probably could have gotten a call during your stay. I have heard just this past week that shipments arent coming in due to inventory.

I’m heading to Hawaii in 2 weeks and was wondering if I need an appointment to go in to either Ala Moana or Waikiki. If so how do I obtain one.
You do not need an appointment. Clients with standing SA relationships will make appointments with their SAs. New clients queue up in front of the store for the next available SA and unfortunately this line is in full sun and can sometimes be over an hour long.

I think there was a shipment recently since my SA texted me about an order that I requested two months ago arrived and will be sending it to me via FedEx. Good luck to those who will be visiting the Waikiki store. Pls update us if anyone gets offered a quota bag

Visited Waikiki yesterday. Stock was very low since they stopped receiving items due to inventory.
There might be a shipment next week though. So if you are here next week, good luck ladies!

They did have Oasis with clear heels but the color I liked was not in my size. RTW was low in stock. Silk and cashmeres low in stock. Bags were low in stock. Tablware, let me just stop here

Hi you guys, I need some advice. I started H journey 2 months ago with my SA in SF. I got a gold picotin on my first appt after purchasing a Kelly belt. My SA is super nice to me, whenever I text her, she responds immediately. She is definitely a keeper. But I feel I couldn’t get any quota bags since I was told a lot of wealthy customers spent 2:1 3:1 to be offered a B/K. So I’m thinking about switching to Waikiki store. Should I give it a try?

Many people open another account under their significant other in Hawaii. You can give it a try but from what I have heard, many people in California are doing that and Hawaii can be just as competitive. Also, some people have mentioned that Waikiki store prefers to offer QB to returned customers now. If you are willing to visit Hawaii multiple times a year or just fly there to pick up a QB, it may be worth giving it a try. Good luck!

I have to agree with msbunnymh. IMO If your not going often, it’s not worth it. From what I hear it was much easier a couple years ago. But things have changed based on my experience at the Waikiki store over the last 18 months. If you have found an amazing SA at home I wouldn’t shop in Hawaii unless it’s under your partners name. Some stores/SAs don’t mind customers shopping while on holiday etc. but to many loyalty is key to eventually getting your dream bag. Of course you may find an amazing SA in Hawaii as well. I would base your decision on how often you visit waikiki because in my personal experience, the low pre-spend ratio is a thing of the past in Hawaii.

If you already have a responsive SA locally, I would definitely stick to your local store as maintaining a long distance H relationship is not easy.
Stocks are scarce everywhere. You have to be lucky that the store happens to have the items/even harder, QB of your wish during your time there.

Right now the Waikiki store may seem to have good inventory, but Japanese tourists still haven't returned pre-covid. Something to consider if you plan to switch your home store to Waikiki. I think the typical number of Japanese tourists per day was 4-5000 and its like 2-300.
