I’m actually established at the Waikiki store and got a b30 on my last visit. It wasn’t my ideal size but was a dream to receive. Hoping this time around I could score something smaller but I don’t want to get my hopes up if inventory just isn’t great for small bags there.
I would touch bases with your SA a week or so before your visit and see if you can make an appointment.

I agree with you too. That's why I am visiting Hawaii next year again instead of going to Europe lol
When I was in Hawaii, I felt that the main store is generous with their non quota bag stocks (or maybe it is the SA I met). I would say in general it is better to shop in one’s local store (able to wait and be there when stocks come) and visit the Hawaii store if that is a frequent destination. There is no sense to go through the expense to make Hawaii one’s home store otherwise as they too face limited stock constraints and you really have to be there “in a flash” if any wishlist bag comes about.

Hi all! Sharing my experience - 1st time visiting Hermes Waikiki in late June:

I tried walk in pretty late in the day. The line happened to be quite short - maybe only 2 or 3 in line. The lady before me was only in the store for maybe 20 seconds... after a very brief conversation with the SA (I am pretty sure she directly asked for a QB!)

I first asked about SLGs like Calvi and Bastia, and was offered a gold calvi and a black bastia - obviously got them both. I then asked about silk-in compact which they did not have any in stock. Then we looked at jewelries and I was excited to find many in stock (Hong Kong where I live never have any jewelry available recently!), and asked whether they have any lindy 26. Unfortunately the SA couldn't offer any to me on the spot and will be on leave for the rest of my stay in Hawaii  However, they referred me to another SA, gave me both of their numbers, and had the other SA write down my requirements: lindy 26 blue with PHW.

I texted SA1 to thank them and texted SA2 to reiterate my wish and also said that I am interested in jewelry. The next evening SA2 offered me a bleu pale PHW lindy 26!! I was so happy and made appointment for the following day.

On the day I went into a shopping frenzy!!! SA2 is also lovely  I ended up getting:
- Loop rose gold earrings!!
- Cadenas amulettes silver necklace! I know this is so basic but literally has been out of stock in my local store since Q1
- Faubourg Tropical 140 for my mother-in-law
- Oz mules in black + silver <- also always not in stock in my local store
- Kelly glove clip in blue sapphire PHW
And the lindy of course! It was actually the first ever Hermes bag I got from the boutique directly myself. It was very exciting! SA2 put all the non-bag items under themselves and the bag under SA1. SA2 also said that I should go back to SA1 next time I am in Hawaii as they did not want to 'steal' customer from SA1.

Overall I had a great experience and very happy with all my purchases. Will definitely reach out to SA1 next time I visit Hawaii but I am not sure when that is going to be...

Hi you guys, I need some advice. I started H journey 2 months ago with my SA in SF. I got a gold picotin on my first appt after purchasing a Kelly belt. My SA is super nice to me, whenever I text her, she responds immediately. She is definitely a keeper. But I feel I couldn’t get any quota bags since I was told a lot of wealthy customers spent 2:1 3:1 to be offered a B/K. So I’m thinking about switching to Waikiki store. Should I give it a try?
IMO only, your SF SA seems to be working quite well for you, so I would not switch. I have read that Hawaii and Vegas have favored local clientele for some time now, and it’s possible the prespend will be just as high for someone who takes an annual trip. In addition, I believe your purchase history within the US will be readily apparent to both

ETA: I would also suggest reading the SF thread, post 2503 and others

Thanks for sharing your story! Congrats on your Lindy 26

That's pretty good, congratulations! I am so happy for you! Do you have two accounts set up at waikiki and ala moana under the same name? Also what did you buy at both stores to get the b30 and k28?
Yes, I have two accounts under different names. At Ala Moana I bought Shoes, Watches, SLG and a few bags about 2.5:1 before the B30 offer. At Waikiki I bought RTW, Shoes, SLG and was about .5:1, but If you add bags I would be about 1.5:1 before the K28 offer. Currently sitting at 2.5:1 after the B30, waiting on a B25 or Mini Kelly (hopefully in Oct or sooner).

I am not local but have shopped at the Waikiki store a couple of times with the same SA and only have a profile here. I am interested in a Constance but afraid to ask because I always read how turned off SAs can get when people ask about quota bags. At what point in time/purchase history would it be appropriate to ask?

That’s awesome! Was it a surprise when they brought out your first qb ( sounds like it was the k28 ?) on a random appointment or did the SA give u a hint that something special was coming your way and you should stop by?
