What does “pending payment” mean? Do I need to call them to verify my payment or it’s just a stage in order processing and no action needed? This is my first time paying with Apple Pay so I’m wondering if it went through. Just don’t want them to cancel my order automatically.

I paid with Apple Pay as well and the status has been showing up as “pending payment” for hours. Did you happen to have your order processed? Hope you got your item from them now

Hello, yes it all worked well in the end. I did call customer support since I ordered a hard to get item and didn’t want to loose it due to a technicality. They told me it’s just their bank is clearing the payment with mine and it takes time. I was surprised myself as the modern payment processing systems do it instantly but I guess Hermès has extra layers of security. The invoice stated my card as a payment method and not Apple Pay. Hopefully, you’ll get yours sent soon.

Ordering from the UK website in recent times has been somewhat problematic for me post covid/Brexit. My last 2 orders have had issues with customs invoices the most recent order placed 2 weeks ago still hasn’t had updated tracking. Website CS called me to inform me of a delay after 5 business days from dispatch but couldn’t tell me why this customs invoice has popped up for a second time. Both items ordered were not ‘sought after’ so not sure what’s going on. I miss the days when they used fedex which meant overnight shipping, now apparently for ecological reasons they use UPS with standard complementary shipping of 5-7 business days and paid for express shipping of 3-5 business days :tdown:

I never had a good experience with UPS before Hermés. They just don’t arrive and put a notice on the shipment that no one was available when there was someone waiting at the house. Also, since when Hermès is offering paid delivery options? IMG_8562.png

Yes, this is quite recent, I put the wrong durations in the paid options of my previous post - forgive me. I discovered this when I made my first order this year in March and I thought to myself the cheek, why would you pay £15 for shipping for what appears to be the same service as paying £10. I also have never had overnight shipping with UPS and several companies I order from use them as a courier that I set up an account so I can be notified as soon as it detects my email on the sender’s dispatch and I‘ve pretty much have had issues. When I asked H CS about using UPS they said it was more economical and ecologically friendly than Fedex and invited me to pay the premium if I wanted more speedy shipping…
 
Hi all :wave: This isn’t necessarily a problem but I just wanted to ask whether you can ship items to the UK when purchasing on the France H website? Just curious since UK orders are fulfilled from France anyway. TIA:rolleyes:
