To the above poster - I m having a simliar issue with a scarf 90 x 90 cm - When I went into the boutique they said it wasn't on sale anymore as it was last season , so I just ordered it online - when ordered it tooks ages to come and when I rung they said they still advertised it as they have stock available if be few and far in between.
BTW I'm in the UK .....
 
Seems like the hard-to find things like medor clutch, CDC, etc. pop up on USA H.com now and then. For people who check the website regularly, when do you say they add new items to the online inventory - after midnight or 8:00 AM eastern time or just random time?


I think it's just random. I've seen things pop up at all different times.

I've ordered something online (a leather perfume travel case) and they shipped the wrong color. When I called customer service they said it was shipped from a store and they sent the wrong color. So they do ship from store on occasion.
 
2 different countries, 2 different speeds of fulfillment.

I ordered a scarf from H.com USA 2 days ago. Got a confirmation email. As of now the package is still being "prepared". I hope they ship soon and this is not one of those out of stock but nobody bothers to tell you. Last June I ordered something online and it took them 4 days before shipping it out.

Then yesterday I ordered an item from H.com Canada at 2 pm. By 4:13 pm, I already received a shipping confirmation email. I nearly fell off my chair. I never ordered from Canadian site before (I have addresses in both countries so can order from both) so I was so pleasantly surprised to say the least.

Not sure why it takes so much longer for US to ship both times that I ordered. Others may have different experience but it's frustrating to have to wait so long for items to ship.

Me too! Ordered today and received shipping confirmation within an hour... Canadian website is great!
 
I placed an order yesterday, and waited im(patiently) for the shipping confirmation today. I just got a call from customer service that the twilly I ordered is being transferred from a store, so they will ship the entire order overnight tomorrow (I didn't pay for overnight, just 2 day). I guess that confirms what some posters are saying above about web and store inventory. But I really appreciated the call to update me, and the shipping upgrade.

So are you saying H.com Canada will ship to the US? I always envy the selection they have vs. the US site. I'd order from them in a heartbeat.
 
I am a large customer of H.com. It's only recently that they've been slow with the shipments. They always used to ship within 24 hours and I'd get my packages quickly.

Something has definitely changed at the warehouse.
 
I received disappointing email from H.com US this morning. The news upset me all day. As mentioned above, I ordered a scarf last Sunday but that order is still bring prepared. Then last night I was searching for charms and lo and behold there were Breloque and 2 Olgas. I was so excited and promptly ordered the Breloque as I've been looking for one since February. I got a confirmation email and went to bed very happy. This morning I got an email with a subject line "cancelled order on H.com". All the email showed was the order number. My heart sank and hoped like heck it wasn't the charm. When I signed on to the account the order for the charm had already disappeared. I called customer service and the lady there said it was out of stock and they couldn't find it at any store in the US to ship to me. I asked why it was on the site if they didn't have any. She said it must have been a glitch in the system.

While I know nothing is set in stone until shipping is confirmed, I just wish they would have got their inventory figured out so people don't place an order only to be disappointed after. Not cool at all. :nogood:
 
FYI, my scarf did arrive 7 days after the order, it was folded improperly, in the wrong sized box and feels shopworn. It's also not a good color for me so it's getting exchanged at my boutique but the whole online experience was disappointing. This was my 3rd try and now I'm just going to take the style numbers and have my SA work on them, even if it means missing out!
 
I notice for some silver jewelry items there is a caveat on h.com that there could be a delay in shipping. What does that mean? Is H schlepping over to the warehouse and getting silver guy to put the thing together after an order comes in? This personally doesn't affect me but it seems to be part of the ordering delay for HS and such that others have experienced.


I think LV besides Amazon might eye H hungrily.
