Thanks for the update! At least I have a chance to stretch them out a bit!!! Just need to keep wearing them. 😅

If it's a bit painful/tight to stretch them out, I wore mine around the house with socks for a while until I used them without socks outside.

I have also worn the same Birkenstocks in size 36 for years. My ideal Chypre size is .5 size up, like you, so I'm 36.5. I also have wide feet and I feel like I can't wear anything other than the suede. I only wear mine occasionally so I haven't broken them in yet. I am guessing I need to put in at least 8-10 hours in them which I have not done yet...

I definitely will never buy an epsom or calfskin pair.

I appreciate your feedback. I'll keep you posted on my progress. Yesterday I wore them out for a few hours with cute sheer socks and they were fine but I wasn't doing a ton of walking. We shall see!

Same here! I'm going to try to wear mine more but it's still cold where I am. Sheer socks is such a good idea...might get sheer knee highs to go with mine. Or just my compression socks LOL

Oh dear so sorry to hear that. Congratulations though! Maybe give yourself some time the body do need some time to adjust, pregnancy is a big thing on our bodies.

I guess everyone’s feet is different. I just got the Chypre and it’s true to size for me. I still think they are ugly but super cute haha

Thank you, yes my husband isn’t the biggest fan but I would get them in multiple colours ( correct size 🤭) they’re so comfortable
