Hi all! Just curious if anyone knows if the Chypre sandals came in a rainbow of colors? Like yellow, red, green? I found this pic on instagram and don’t know if they are real. I would love me some yellow ones. Or any bright color for that matter lol
I think that these are replica chypre sandals, but some are sort of accurate in authentic colourways that are offered by Hermes. Other colourways don't exist, or at least to my knowledge. They do offer some brighter colours, so if you're after a collection of them to make a rainbow, it's doable.

Here's a nice "look book" of some of the chypre colour options.

@robtee Part 2 of Chypre options

Thank you! I do have the beige mastic and Rose Bois De Santal but I would love some in yellow, green , or red! Here I am with them on. View attachment 5970613
Wow! Stunning! I'm thinking of the Beige Mastic for myself, but heard that they are super hard to get. Was it hard to get your Beige Mastic pair?

If you are looking for green, I think the Vert Jade Chypre Sandals are very nice. It's a light pastel green colour.

Wow! Great timing to score Beige Mastic! Those are super hard to come by these days. I have 1 pair in black and really like them. Looking to get another in a neutral like Beige Mastic

Hi! I’m thinking of getting a pair of suede Chypres in time for spring/summer. However, I won’t be able to fit them in store. I have wide feet and second toes that are longer than my big toes, if it helps.

Can anyone who has the Chanel dad sandals chime in? For reference, I wear a 39 in the Chanel and my toes fit right into the upper lip (and they sometimes go over when I walk). I also have the Chanel quilted ballerinas in a 40 but they are a tad snug on me.

Should I get the Chypre in a 40? The size chart in the Hermes website is incredibly confusing! 😞

If you are finding the women's chypre sandals too tight. Men's chypre sandals might help you, the mens version are very similar in design, but are wider and that's it. The only difference is that they are wider and thus the H detail is a little elongated. However, the men's chypre sandals come in different colours than the women's so the colour you want might not be available.

I am actually looking at men’s too as I find their colors more appealing! Thank you for the input. Would you say the men’s size chart is more accurate?

Not sure as I haven't looked into the size charts. I just tried them on in store with my SA. I actually have very slim feet and couldn't go for the men's sizes, and went for the women's sizes instead as those are less wide. It doesn't really bother me as the mens and women's are soooo similar that no one can even tell.

I’m a 40 across the board in pretty much every designer shoe brand even in Hermes Orans and Chanel dad sandals (maybe I could’ve sized down 1/2 a size as they run slightly big). I’m also a US 9 in Nike, New Balance and other sneaker brands. I got a 40 in the calfskin Chypres and they fit perfect. I heard suede stretches out more than calfskin. Anyone who owns both can confirm if the two leathers fit the same?
