Hi all, does anyone know if they are coming out with a beige pair this season?
To add a further sizing reference point, in case this helps anyone -
Naturel suede Chypres (purchased in summer 2023) - took size 39 (my regular size). Length is good, but they still feel quite wide for my narrow feet (like they might fly off; if they were from any other brand, I probably would have returned, but I have Hermes fever
).
Black smooth leather Chypres (purchased Feb 2024) - took size 39.5, on the advice of my SA (despite thinking I could bet money they would be too long/wide). Turns out, they are perfect, both length and width.
Not sure what is happening with sizing, and at least in my experience the different upper materials have an impact - so definitely aim to try on your expected size, plus the half sizes around it.

Another data point for sizing chypre sandals in suede. I have wide feet and I'm usually a 36 or 6, ideally wide. Sometimes I'm a 5.5W. Most H shoes are not all day walking kind of shoes. I wear Orans and most H shoes in a 36.5. I size up in a suede Oasis in 37.
I'm a perfect fit in 36.5. I also have a pair of 37.5 that are just a little big in length but I might be able to make it work (haven't worn it yet).

I’m a 40 in orans and got 40 in the blanc calfskin Chypres from the Hermes website 2 weeks ago. They are perfect. Sizing up half a size would be too big for me.
Most likely Shearling. It provides the most friction as well.
So interesting that this shade of green is called vert jade because I thought vert jade already existed in a darker/brighter hue closer to vert verone

That shade is called vert jade on the website and I think the chypres only come in that one shade of green as far as I have seen, I definitely could be wrong!
