My cheap outfits are a lot of repeats. This is another sample sale special and it’s old.
The top is at least 11 years old from the first year of T Alexander Wang from back in the day when he did sample sales in SoHo and I was able to sneak over at lunch (and before his predatory behavior became known ). Skirt is a more recent lace & satin showroom sample from Vince. Pulled out my Ever Chaine d’Ancre and Christine bag again.
We’re doing some minor renovations, please excuse the mess.

My Garden Party 36 and vintage medor belt with a dress that I got from the Marc Jacobs showroom for $40 when I used to work in their building. I thought “I don’t need another black dress” but it travels well, has a high neck and pockets which makes it good for business travel.

but this is my trusty long drive/travel outfit: very old Banana Republic pull on pants (stretchy waistband, no pinching yay) and ATM long sleeve shirt bought on sale.
