My SA said they can only shop in another country, and has a few QBs, but has to pre spend like everyone else. They do not reveal that they work at Hermes while shopping.

Def not unfair. I’m really happy to see my SA have the same pieces as me. They once said after I bought something, I “influenced” them to buy the same styleThere are enough employee sales that at 70%-90% off, they have a good chance of finding what they want. But, it's like any sale- you never know what will be there. My SA HAS said " why don't I just give them back my paycheck?"So no- its' NOT considered a "pre-spend" per se.
Scarves- they are entitled to choose 1 90 a season, and get a discount on any others they may want ( and probably on other items as well). Note that the scarves are part of the required uniform for SAs.
Bags HAD been different- an SA needed to be with the company for over 5 years, then they 'apply" to buy a bag, etc. It's a process, and like customers, they may not be "offered" what they asked for. Recently, a few bags popped up at their sale, but that may have been a one-off.
And before anyone even THINKS it- NO! its NOT "unfair" that they get a discount or sale occasionally. They work insanely hard, put up with WAY too many impressively annoying clients, are always public facing ( so need to have their "smiley" faces on all the time) and generally deserve whatever bonus their employer gives them- just like any of us get from our employers.

There are a lot of new, junior SAs. Probably they do not have the ease of access that senior SAs do. I have an SA in the US with a bag collection tdf - I've seen quite a bit of it.
Also let’s not forget that pieces that go to the employee sales are often real samples, displays and damaged or flawed items. So they don’t get a brand new bag for example for such a good price. And there are limits so that they can’t resell probably.

Yes, subject to approval. Mine was able to get one for his wife’s bday last year
There are employee sales and I believe after a certain timeframe and under certain conditions, they can also buy RTW and order MtM
The above plus a blue which has been variously reported as Bleu Saphir and Navy (maybe there's more than one blue available); also Rouge Piment. I've seen one post saying Brique was available in a display case, but have seen nothing concrete on that one.
Noir and Rouge H are what I am personally seeing in store.
I saw it too at the Madison store and my SA said it was indeed Brique.

That display of all Box bags was gorgeous- the Rouge Piment and Brique both have contrast stitching, while the black and RH (obviously) do not. I'll include the RP again- it's so stunning, it's well worth a re-post!
There's also been a bit of VF box around- recently saw a MK in Box VF PHW, and before that a K28 with GHW.
Also saw one in Bleu Saphir as well, so it certainly does exist

Ahhh just got my first offer ever! Lindy 26 in etoupe. It was an offer via text since my SA knows I live further away. As hard as it was, I passed on it. I thanked my SA and explained that I hadn’t tried them on before but that I know she can’t hold them for a week, so I’d love to try on display bags at my visit instead. Figured that would be a good way to officially talk about bags I’m interested in since we hadn’t before.
I’ve never tried or seen in person any Lindy’s before (except a mini Lindy I saw on a fellow Hawaii tourist and took a photo of it like a little creeper for our “wildlife” thread) but I think I personally would want the longer strap option for cross body.
I’m so excited I got a bag offer especially in a neutral. But it wasn’t a bag I envisioned for myself…then again, I’m so new to H bags aside from my vintage Ks, herbag and halzan…I’m wondering if I’m missing out? Sorry for the stream of consciousness…if it wasn’t evident by reading my post, I’m having a bit of a rollercoaster of emotions. I’m hoping that if there’s anyone who understands what I’m going through, it’d be all the lovely TPFers!
ETA: Now that I’ve come down from the euphoria, going to put the bag blinders back on and keep buying the other beautiful H offerings and wait for my dream bags
