Hello again! So does birkins in size 30 togo leather start sagging based on number of years (age) or based on usage !?

If a birkin is used less frequently and stored properly will 10 + year bag sag less ?? Thanks
I wish I could give you good answers, but as with many questions the answer is “It depends”. I have one Togo bag that isn’t getting too slouchy, and another Togo one that is more so. I use Mai Tai inserts, they give some structure without pushing on or indenting the leather. I love both, and I simply wear with my inserts and store in Lucite with a bag pillow shaper when not in use. Sorry I can’t answer specifically your questions. As leather is skin, much like in us humans skin is unique to each of us and wears differently.

I find my chèvre B isn’t getting slouchy, wear with same inserts, etc.and love the leather. if you want structured with little to no slouch Epsom might be one way to go, although it isn’t my preference as I don’t like the hand or feel of Epsom. It’s all so personal and depends on so many factors! Good luck!

Hi, does anyone know if vert comics in chevre Mysore exists for a different size than the mini Kelly, i.e. K25 ? I only ever saw this combo in MK
Standard order (podium) chèvre Kelly bags in sizes larger than mini are incredibly rare. I do not believe this specific color in chèvre in a Kelly larger than size 20 exists (vert comics was never even available for special order/a la carte).

That is quite strange. I would go back to the Toronto boutique and tell them what happened. Emphasizing that it was only after a few uses, they should be able to see from the negligible wear and tear on the strap material and receipt date of purchase. Seems like a quality control issue and they should replace it free of charge. I don't think you should have to fix/repair it yourself, especially after paying a lot for an Apple Watch Hermès product.
So I can’t get back to Toronto as easily but was in NY for work. Dropped it off at a store there and they said it would be free of charge and 6 weeks to repair. Just for a screw 🤣🤣🤣. But might also be good for them to check every screw in there.

Ok that's good. I'm glad that you were able to get it repaired free of charge! But 6 months is a longggg time indeed

Love it! I see it's a SO---what color is the exterior? Looks like the lining color is rose extreme/rose mexico?
And I see the artwork on the clochette, was that done by 3rd party?
Hi. Sorry to drag you here so as not to derail the thread.

Thanks. Exterior black (it always shows blue in pictures for some reason), lining Rouge de Couer. The clochette is not an artwork but just an edit to hide my initial

Mine is a couple of years old and kind of slouchy after being used very rarely. I’m thinking it is the weight of its own leather, as I don’t store it on its side, idk. * Perhaps a rigid bag organizer that is smaller (does not push at the sides ) might help?

* someone here posted the danger of storing a b 30 on its side might be that the pocket imprint might show through eventually.

ETA: just saw @DrTr already answered :)

Does anyone know what to do when your SA kind of ghosts you? I met a wonderful one at the flagship in Madison - had a few text interactions with him regarding some shoes that didn't fit/searching for the right size. I ended up having to return because we couldn't get the right size 🥲

But now that its getting warmer, I'm getting spendy and want to buy stuff through him -- but I don't know how to give him my spend when I can't get in touch? Its been hard for me to find an SA I vibe with, so I don't want to let go of the relationship.

Have you sent a simple message "Hi, I was hoping to shop in the city on Tuesday. Are you available that day?"?

I did when I had to return my shoes, but didn't get a reply. I have a good friend visiting at the end of the month and wants to check out the flagship, so maybe that's when I can try it out again 🙃
This is going to be completely unfair and you will probably feel attacked but if your only interactions with an SA have been a sale that was then returned (plus spending a bunch of time unsuccessfully finding a replacement) I would guess that an SA might assume that you are more trouble as a client than you are worth. Again, not fair probably but SAs have limited minutes at work and more shoppers than they can handle currently. I would just go in to the store and ask for him and if he's not there, try fresh with someone else.

That seems to be more of a trend lately; I guess SAs are either overwhelmed or have been guided by H Corp to allocate more of their time to in-store customers.

You may want to check out this thread for more specifics.

ahhh that's too bad. Yeah I'll just ask for him when I go back in again. The shoes were just 1/5th of my purchase with him, so I figured it would be fine because it was a legitimate return (the shoes were shipped to me, so the sizing being weird was a possibility)

I feel like I float from SA to SA, which is not what I want 😭

How difficult is it to get the birdy charm in the store? I came across a YouTube video and now I am obsessed! Also does anyone know the price of the regular leather one, assuming it comes as non exotics material. I find regular leather more carefree than exotics leather as charms.
