Happy Monday from US!

Question for you all bolide owners:

So in my mind, a perfect combo of mini bolide would be something like quebracho in chèvre- lighter neutral/brown/beige in the more durable leather. Chai is also a color I kept thinking about (I own an Evelyne in chai/ clemence), but as far as I know there's only chai in evercolor, and it's most likely not being produced anymore.
However, after seeing an evercolor bolide 25 in gold, I doubted if insisting on chèvre is really necessary. Gold on evercolor is much brighter (than clemence) and it's a real eye candy!

Would you recommend waiting for the perfect combo (something similar to quebracho or chai in chèvre), or just go with whatever color of my liking in evercolor? Does evercolor really get worn or slouchy that easily than chèvre?

I've started to think maybe etoupe (more in chèvre) is a good one too... but all photos of etoupe in chèvre I've seen online looked so dark... :hrmm:

Thank you all in advance!
I have mini Bolides in both chèvre and evercolor. I like them both equally. Neither slouches (not that a mini Bolide can really slouch) but if anything the chèvre is the one with some slight loss of shape. Both leathers take color beautifully.

I find it fascinating how subjective colour is..
I love Rouge Sellier because of its Purple tint (I love Rasin and Cassis) Where as my SA loathes it!
Funny, I know people love Raisin but it's too purple for me, and I adore Rouge Sellier! I almost went for it for my SO but I have a Bolide in Prune and the sage counsel of both my SA and SM persuaded me the two colors were way too close. I find Rouge Sellier to be a deep, deep chocolaty red wine color; a deeper version of Rouge H which is among my top three favorite H leather colors (it shifts around on the list but it's up there).

I find Iris and Anemone too purple and I've noticed Raisin varies greatly depending on the dye batch.
Prune...Now that I love but I rarely come across it on the pre-owned market

Here's my Rouge Sellier Mini Bolide and my Prune Toolbox together (plus a better pic of the Toolbox with a Prune scarf). The colors are not as similar as they seem in photos (you could call the Rouge Sellier "brown" but IRL you'd never call the Prune bag brown, it is decidedly a purple with red and brown tones). They are still pretty closely related!

I didn't LOVE Rouge Sellier when I bought this Bolide but thought it would be a versatile color - now I absolutely love it!

For me, it depends so much on what you’re used to wearing! My wardrobe is very cool-toned and so the warmth of Rouge Sellier, along with the gold hardware, just doesn’t sit right. Maybe if I had waited for one in palladium hardware I wouldn’t be having this problem, I think the RS seems to look a bit cooler-toned with palladium…?
