Need some advice. Would you bring your Kelly on a road trip along the Southern California coast? I usually travel with my Chanel WOCs, along with a Chanel Grand Shopping tote, but I adore my "new to me" Kelly 28 :smile:She's Vache Liegee. TIA for your insights.View attachment 5883324
Depends on how the rest of your outfit looks but I think the color, style and size of this Kelly can fit into the relaxed so cal vibe.

You will be fine with a Kelly - I lived in Southern Cali for years - but if you are, say, hiking or surfing or doing long beach walks, you will of course want something simpler. If it's just restaurants and shopping, a Kelly is perfect. For clubs a WOC is better IMO.

Thanks. You're always so helpful :) Wish you were still here we could grab a cuppa!

Hi, I had a quick question about the H baby blanket- does anyone use it as a lap blanket (like while you're sitting at a desk)? Do you like it? Considering getting a blanket but not sure whether I want a full size one or a smaller baby one. Thanks!

friendly, informational group that's excited about H?
Yup. At least they should be polite esp if you have taken the time to consider their query
someone once accused me of being unsupportive bc I disagreed with whatever course of action they chose
Hello all, I have come to a decision to reduce my bags of use, but I am stuck on “ should I let go the exotic bags , or hold on on them and let’s the regulars rehome?”
Please advise if you think exotic is a keep shake:blush::giggle:
(My life is now getting close to Camping world, I will use the bags mainly at church masses and some small friends gather once in awhile . )
@tlamdang08 , I love your exotics and think that you have some of the most beautiful on TPF. So I would be very sad if you let them go. So I would keep your favorites for the once in a while. I remember a gorgeous green croc kelly in particular, that just took my breath away. JMO. I’m confident that you will choose the best course of action

No, but I’m casual and dislike bulk and weight when I travel. I carry my TPM in Southern CA. However, I do wear premier RTW, so that’s how I balance the more dressy events.

I’d vote for the baby one; warm, just the right size, and the charming designs (like the Epopee) - what else would one ask for? Oh and the price is a lot more reasonable as well.

Hugging the coast from San Diego to Carmel By the Sea... stopping for a bit in many areas, all upscale.
So you’re doing NoCal as well…Big Sur is way more casual, Carmel of course anything goes. Big Sur is one of the most beautiful places on earth (I live in France and have been to over 100 countries, 7 continents, and yet this is still true IMO). If you can go to Nepenthe for sunset ….
Bring the Kelly! We’ll have a cuppa one day, I come back often.

And now it is Parisian night, raining again. Unfortunately I’m working because America is still in the office! But almost done. Bonne nuit, bonne soirée, bonne journée to all.

Was just looking at Nepenthe for dinner, not just because of the view, but because I'm a huge fan of Kaffe Fassett, who's parents owned the restaurant so he grew up there. Sending love across the pond
P.S. Love France, especially the Loire ;)

Thanks for your reply! The blue epopee one and the matching pillows are cute! I was thinking about the blue Avalon one. I'll ask my SA if I can see them in person since the colors on the website don't seem to be very accurate (got burned by a scarf order last time).

Ahhhhhh Big Sur!
I love Napenthe and Eselen....Their hot spring tubs overlooking the sea were magical.
Big Sur is definitely one of my favourite places on earth!

Hello everyone:flowers:
Hopefully this kind of question is allowed over here (or should I refer the question elsewhere?)

So I found this bag with the color and size I’ve always been wanting. Question is, is $12k a good price for a seemingly slightly-used bag?

Would you buy a bag with condition and price like this? Thanks for any input in advance!

I would let go of the exotics.
They don't fit in with your lifestyle and aside from Ostrich tend to be more delicate.
Providing you still have the Cites certificates they should sell well at auction or a reputable resale site (like Ann's or Fashionphile for instance)
Depending on how many exotics you have and what styles perhaps you could keep a smaller more classic exotic bag to wear for a special dressy event?
Exotic are hard to rehome, I will keep them, enjoy them more even just as :biggrin:eye candy for now.:hugs:
