Only 24 made. I wonder how much it was retail. Also, doesn't it make it extremely easy to figure out who this seller is....

Not sure where to post this but my husband is traveling for business in Arizona. We don’t have an H here in my state. He had some time before meetings and was out and about. This have me a giggle that he checked for an h before I even asked. Had to share because I know you will all understand

I realize there’s a special group of husbands like this. My husband went on a business trip and ended up talking about Hermes with his client, whose wife is also into it.
I told my husband, ”are you now not glad that I educated you on terms such as SO, heritage leather, Plume etc?" He promised to listen to me more enthusiastically next time I talk shop (Hermes, specifically)

Hey everyone,

so I went to my local Hermes store for the first time today, so exciting!! The experience was very different from what I was expecting, so wanted to share it with you :)

A litte background: I admire the Hermes craftsmanship for a while but just now I feel like I can treat myself to purchase from the brand. I am not particularly keen on a bag but totally in love with some of the ready to wear items in the mens section.

Of course I went into the store prepared and found several items in the online store I was hopping to purchase. Unfortunately I left empty handed :( I was very surprised to see that the selection was much smaller compared to what was offered online, both in terms of items and available sizes. The store is quite large but not for the men’s section apparently.

However the experience with my SA was very pleasant. I went to the store from the office and forgot an umbrella in the morning. So I came in a bit wet, what my SA noticed immediately. She actually handed me an umbrella on my way out! Can you imagine? That is truly great customer service. And it also made me happy because apparently she was able to recognize that I truly appreciate the brand and will bring business in the future. That hopefully comes handy when its time to ask for a HAC some day :)

While I impatiently wait for my delivery, I have two questions for the Hermes experts :)

I was so occupied in the moment, that I forgot to ask my SA for her name. I registered at the entrance. Is there any way Hermes knows who my SA was, even without a purchase?

Are there stores somewhere in Europe that have a larger selection of ready to wear for men in stock? When it comes to luxury items I relay love the experience to shop in the store rather online. So happy to include a store visit with my next travels if that makes sense :)

Just a random question. I was talking to my SA in February and she told me that Birkin 25 touch togo/lizard is comin to the store around March/April and that would be an option to get it. Now I am just waiting. How does it work with the inventory - can SA claim a specific quota bag for her client? Thank you ❤️

Yes i think they can but the SM has to give a go ahead! Sometimes they could also get it preapproved from the SM if they know the client will surely buy it.

I have been looking for a hermes high end jewerly piece to add to my collection. I was looking at the farandole necklace, really love it. But i dont like how it clips. Like come on Hermes, can't you make it more secure. Anyways, so my SA located the last three of the gourmette bracelet for me. Is this worth the purchase? I kinda like it because it isnt as popular, but just wanted opinion.

Buy something you like regardless of its popularity. The only time popularity matters is if you’re considering re-selling.

@QuelleFromage so true. I got my H D'Ancre bracelet brand new at 50% off from Fashionphile. Love that boutique lol.

There’s a full pave one available on fp. It’s brand new and in xs. Lots of other brand new ones 50% off in cdc and Kelly style.

Yep…if you can find it at resale, the price will usually be 50% or less. I will always try first with my SA that I adore, because they have gone above and beyond for me for years, but otherwise there is a huge amount of FJ at resale including the discontinued XS size.
