Hey everyone,
so I went to my local Hermes store for the first time today, so exciting!! The experience was very different from what I was expecting, so wanted to share it with you
A litte background: I admire the Hermes craftsmanship for a while but just now I feel like I can treat myself to purchase from the brand. I am not particularly keen on a bag but totally in love with some of the ready to wear items in the mens section.
Of course I went into the store prepared and found several items in the online store I was hopping to purchase. Unfortunately I left empty handed

I was very surprised to see that the selection was much smaller compared to what was offered online, both in terms of items and available sizes. The store is quite large but not for the men’s section apparently.
However the experience with my SA was very pleasant. I went to the store from the office and forgot an umbrella in the morning. So I came in a bit wet, what my SA noticed immediately. She actually handed me an umbrella on my way out! Can you imagine? That is truly great customer service. And it also made me happy because apparently she was able to recognize that I truly appreciate the brand and will bring business in the future. That hopefully comes handy when its time to ask for a HAC some day
While I impatiently wait for my delivery, I have two questions for the Hermes experts
I was so occupied in the moment, that I forgot to ask my SA for her name. I registered at the entrance. Is there any way Hermes knows who my SA was, even without a purchase?
Are there stores somewhere in Europe that have a larger selection of ready to wear for men in stock? When it comes to luxury items I relay love the experience to shop in the store rather online. So happy to include a store visit with my next travels if that makes sense
