Many bloggers and influencers were caught wearing or buying fakes even rich one. Some of them don’t even know they’re eye sold fakes. They often buy through buyers. I watched a YouTube interview with a buyer who used to work for biggest Russian celebrities and he admitted to sell them super fakes for 2-3x price saying them it’s original. The face was blurred and voice changed but I believe it did happen to many celebrities. Another blogger I watch was showing her Birkin that she bought brought buyer and after someone suggested to authenticate it, turned out it was really good fake.

Nonetheless, please do not feel deterred from purchasing a Kelly or Constance-to-go (or anything else you love)! I see. I guess it can happen to anyone unfortunately what if they paid so much but only ended up buying a good fake.

Hi Hermes lovers, I am looking to buy my very first Kelly bag and it is a 1989 rouge vif and it is missing a strap. I am wondering if I take it to the Hermes store they would be able to order it for me since the bag is so old and about how much the strap costs. Thanks!!

I wasn’t going to reply bc I don’t have personal experience. Was waiting for someone more experienced to respond but since no one mentioned anything, I’ll respond with what I’ve read in the forums. Yes they can get you a new strap if your bag is authentic. I think I read it takes 6 months even up to a year. Rough price I remember was $1500-2k.

Thank you. I was curious myself. I have a 1987 Kelly on my way to me next month that also is missing a strap (or maybe it didn’t come with one? I *think* straps were optional/extra back then)

I forgot to check today. Almost every morning there’s a selection and they’re gone in a blink of an eye. Last week I was able to add a Herbag to my cart and even check out. But because I was trying to be quick, I didn’t realize it was the 50cm travel herbag. I had to return it.

Ugh! I tried to add any of the Picotin they had. So I get just adding and clicking buy immediately without reading lol! What a bummer
