Need help!!
Hi! I’ve been reading some post on and off but quite new to how to make a post. Sorry I can’t find the suitable forum/category but have an urgent question.

I’ve been offered a touch birkin 25 in grey, I think it’s grid Meyer/cimet in Togo and Alligator. My heart jumped out the moment I saw it, unfortunately it’s phw but I prefer ghw/rghw.

I’m normally quite open to color and hardware. I do have some phw as well as ghw. But my other B25 is also in phw. I don’t have any bag in gris so that’s a plus. And I’m quite fond of the touch. I was thinking to get the full exotic bag while now I’m offered the touch.

My hold back is, with the use of birkin I don’t think I will close the lid often which make the exotic leather part not as obvious, and if I use Twilly also, it’s even harder to see any exotic part, and the price is a double. Do people normally use Twilly on touch birkin? Is this spec hard to come by? Please help me.

Sounds absolutely beautiful! So I understand your dilemma. I feel like for that price it should be pretty close to perfect. And I think since you’ll be leaving the flap open most of the time and it’s not GHW I would personally pass. Those are 2 pretty big cons for this price imo. I have a b25 in PHW and specifically wanted my next b to be GHW. I’m glad I didn’t settle for PHW. Feels really good to have both hardwares in my collection. Hold out for the full exotic with GHW/RGHW

ooooh sounds so yummy, id love a gris meyer croc. For me personally, the touch is perfect even with the flap in bc mostly its just for me to admire so I don't mind that. But Im a hard core GHW/RGHW girl. Even though I know grey would look better with PHW, I don't know if I would love it as much.....So hard. I guess its down to "do you want a B25 with GHW?" If so then pass...another perfect beauty will be coming a long shortly...

What’s difficult is that I’ve been actually buying for a year now from my last QB and I’ve not been chasing my SA for a QB but I knew it’s been way too long.

Having been travelling to many different countries recently also make me realize that the exotic leather could be 1/3 more pricy where I’m at (Asia) here. And that’s only a wallet I’m comparing. With the pretty crazy prespend whileas I feel like getting an exotic is a much easier hunt oversea. So my plan for an exotic here at where I live may change now. I’m actually quite glad I’m offered the touch suddenly cuz I could have gotten 2 regular QB for my prespend.

Haha! I think I sound all calculating. But the fact is I rarely turn down anything my SA offered me. And she said this one is very hard for her to snitch, so I try to believe her.

Thanks for your input. For my MK2 I did mention I only wanted ghw and a very specific color. But for this one I didn’t discuss yet with her but she found me this Gris touch. I can’t find much anywhere online to see this combination in different angle.
I think if I can always get another B/K if I ask specifically. But i dont know if I can wait for another touch in ghw given my standing right now.
I really wanna know if full exotic B/K is harder to come by or touch B/K lol, and if the prespend requirement is the same

I have a feeling that touch is more rare but also the pool of people wanting it must me significantly fewer than regular leather so might cancel each other out in terms of waiting time for the next offer? Just my guess

I think if you don’t really love it it wouldn’t be too much longer for the next offer (I’m guessing less than a year maybe even less than 6 months? Which is not that long to me)

Waiting is not a problem for me, but stop buying is….during the wait time, there will be new stuff coming out and that would add to the prespend, so I never understand how to meet the prespend then stop busying and wait. That’s very true cuz where I’m getting this touch is exactly in Asia, probably the area where I need to be a little more calculating than I want to, sadly. My prespend right now is already close to 1:2. And it’s quite clear that after I get this touch, it’s not another QB. Of course I can get other non-QB.

Hi all. Does anyone know whether is that a scratch, discoloration or color transfer? Nothing on the other plaque. I have checked the touret to see whether they were any scratches or color transfer but nothing there.

Hi loves ❤️ a random question. My SA was mentioning in February that a specific QB is coming in around March/April and nothing happened yet. Do they know when exactly are they getting bags in or shipements get in later than sooner? If someone knows - thank you ❤️

I’m only 1.5 years into H. Although I don’t specifically look up my pre spends and calculate it, I have a general idea. I personally don’t stop shopping and buy what I love, but wonder how it is like for others.
