I live in Ugg boots during the winter. They make some pretty nice ones besides the moon boots.
Hi Pursey, Pugsy, EB, Mindi, ATG (love the wreath!) and everyone! I can't stand more snow!! It starts here tomorrow afternoon, so I have to go in, do conference calls, and pack work to get home before it starts. Blech!

I wish I'd bought the brown when they were available. I wore these in NY for five days straight the week before Christmas last year. It snowed and never got above 30F. But, my toes stayed toasty warm. I took a pair of dress boots with me, but never even put them on.

Check out the Maddisons if you're still hunting for them. I kicked myself for not buying the black pair last year, ended up with black Maddisons. Love them!
You would also love the shearling lined ballet flats. They had them at the outlet for $35 a pair not long ago.
Evening, peeps! I must be the only person on earth who can follow a recipe for making apple pie and completely butcher it. Well, it has all the right flavors, but the apples on top are dry and crusty, and my beautiful lattice top turned all hard and crunchy. How do this happen?? But I can make a nice loaf of bread, got that down pat.

I have to admit. I wear my Uggs a little too much during the winter. Black leggings, oversized cashmere sweater....and my black uggs. Soooo comfy!!!
I guess I need to check out those Ugg boots. My parents were horrified when I showed up for Christmas in my "winter" shoes...Tory Burch flats, the suede ones as opposed to the thin leather ones 
Were they from Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (last year?) Because I have those boots in black and brown. I love the heel and hardware. This year I bough a similar pair, but with a regular UGG heel. I can only wear certain things, because my feet are so skinny. I can wear only one style slipper and I buy two pairs a year from Zappo. Nordstrom doesn't even carry them.
I'm lucky I can wear those boots, because they are warm and I don't have to worry about pesky old socks!!
I went to the Uggs site, and the Maddisons were sold out. BUT, Zappos had them. The brown should be winging their way to me tomorrow!

BBL, I wish! I'm the worst about not shopping sales. I've gotten old and lazy, I think. If I see something online I like, I buy it, and have it shipped. Lazy, lazy, lazy!
