Mindi, sending cleanup vibes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There's nothing wrong with keeping up Christmas decorations yearround. If not for DH's complaining, I would've left the bright fuschia ornament wreaths that I got on clearance at Pier 1 on our front door way past Christmas. Men, they have no taste.

I've been wondering about Laney, MissM and Lala, too. Especially Lala--she was so regular and cheerful. I know people come and go, but she had been here a long, long time. I believe her and MissM stay in touch. Maybe they have run off on a long shopping trip! Seriously, hoping that all is OK with each of them.

Mindi! I am sending you my clean up vibes! I feel much better after a trip to the ER. I only had to wait 15 minutes too and I will feel much better. It is just a small infection that will clear up soon. Thank you all for your amazing support. :hugs:

Nurse, so sorry you had to go to the ER, but usually they have some fast-acting meds. Glad you are feeling better.

ATG, good asthma vibes to you too from a fellow sufferer. I have a nebulizer for the bad times. Saves me from the ER.

Mindi, my decorations are still up. I love them so and hate to take them down. I foresee a week or so more. And only because I have a real tree.

Happy last day before the new year of work to everyone.

Lu: You are right and sometimes I more than love health care. I just needed some steriods and some antibiotics after the infection made the asthma worse.

And ATG: I know how you feel. Good luck and feel better soon. :hugs:

And my decorations are still up. Some are up all year long. :p

Nurse, glad you got the right meds and are on the mend! Continuing to send health vibes your way!

Thanks to the Power of Chat, I got LOTS of de-decorating/undecorating/antidecorating done today. Not done--main Christmas tree (yes, there were two) is still intact--but made a serious dent. And this in spite of Henry's "help." He is so "helpful."

Also, Henry keeps getting bigger. He's almost 12 pounds now. I swear he grows overnight. Olive the Chunky Chi looks positively diminutive by comparison. Whatever Henry is, it ain't no Chihuahua. Actually, he looks a lot like a Basenji. Except he does bark, which Basenjis don't. Perhaps he's a Chisenji.

Oh and starting the marathon training this week! We're gonna do a half marathon in April. Or at least I'm gonna try anyway to do the half marathon lol :smile1:

I am having a quiet day chez eb. I have been doing some clean up and docride's treatment to my SO Birkin, Violet Constance and Chanel boots. I even was able to fit in some weight training. I have been so bad of late--eating, drinking and overall lack of working out. I need to get back on track.

Nurse, I am so glad you got some good meds and did not have to wait long in the ER.

Purse, you are a woman after my own heart. No special decos here.
