Happy New Year's Day Everyone!!

EB, last night it was Mario Batali for you, tonight it's Eric Ripert for me! Bacon-wrapped pork temderloin, sooo pretty!

Hope everyone had a good ringing-in! Mine consisted of Food Truck nibbles, Journey cover band (Don't Stop Believing) and fireworks at midnight. Total camp but uber casual (and cold) and fun. The Oingo Boingo and Dave Matthews cover bands were surprising good too!!

I think a healthy new life is more good than asthma is bad, so you're on the positive side of the fence!

ATG, I agree that the new baby more than cancels out the asthma, but going out to dinner would put you well into the positive for 2011!

It was! Very low key, casual, and I didn't wake up feeling like death on toast for once! And really, "Journey" with the fireworks was the best! Could have done w/o the cold, but hey, it's Dec! At least it was clear of rain/snow/wind!

Yup, Dead Man's Party! Funny about the trib bands....they were all named after hit lyrics!

Now, spending it WITH Chef McDreamy would be the BEST (sorry DH:blushing:) but the tenderloin was a very close second!

Just popping in, all caught up finally! On our way home, so hopefully will be able to be on here more often!

But wanted to wish everyone a happy and healthy 2011! So happy that we have put 2010 behind us, let's bring in a wonderful 2011! :flowers:

I need some (very mild and non-urgent) Chat vibes to help me start taking down Christmas deccies. There. Are. So. Many. I'm finding it hard to face! I'm gonna try to do one small step at a time (one room, or maybe one part of one room) but I struggle with that, 'cus I see all that has to be done and start getting frantic. Just my own neurotic tendencies. If you're low on vibes, don't send 'em my way; save 'em for more important stuff. It'll be done by June, one way or another. :p

I had a dream last night that I popped into my local H boutique for a little look around and ran into DH, who was trying to stealth buy a Birkin for me. What does this mean??? :D

True. That would be very bad. And, I'm sorry if I discounted the severity of asthma. I've never experienced it, so I'm sure that I don't fully appreciate the unpleasantness.

Mindi-vibes coming your way. Could you set up a reward system? Some fun little treat after you complete a room?
