Hahaha, I just called Nice store and they were so rude.. so I was planning on calling to Cannes or Monaco next :laugh:

I found Cannes very unfriendly when I went in Summer, however I had completely the opposite experience in Monaco. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful, even doing a Europe wide search for an item I was looking for. I would highly recommend the Monaco store

So Monaco it'll be!! Altough, I spoke on the phone with a very friendly male SA from the Cannes H. He was friendly, but not very helpful though... his english was awful :laugh:

the prices in Monaco are the same as in France. You can also deduct VAT. I don't think none of the stores are very friendly towards "Tourists" especially when it comes to Birkin, and Kelly purchases - unless you are ready to drop top dollars and it's yr lucky day. Monaco and Cannes are by the way, franchises stores, therefore they don't share inventories and pretty much do as they please with their stocks. NICE is not a Franchise and somehow I think Cannes and Monaco are always bombarded with cruise ships, festivals, Mip TV and other events they might be more difficult to deal with. Oh really, I was told the opposite when I spoke to FSH yesterday, they told me Nice is a franchise store while Cannes and Monaco are not.

I don't think I can deduct VAT as I live in the EU.. but good to hear it's the same price :smile1:

Does anyone know how is the stock like in Monaco store right now? My dad will be travelling to Monaco next week for bussiness. I hope that he could get something special back from Monaco.

I love shopping from H in Monaco. They always have a great selection of SLG, Wallets, Silk scarves, beach towels, cashmere shawls and bracelets. Not to mention the silver and gold jewelry, the shoes (Croc Oran sandals in many colors ) , and the croc CDC belts....

You might find some serious treasure there....

Bags are another story, though.

The Monaco store always has the exotic and harder to find items in stock. A more discerning clientele I guess. Perlerare is right, you will find some serious treasures in there. :smile1:

Exotics exotics exotics in MC store! Last summer, I almost didn't see any normal leather other than exotics, ostrich, croc and gator are plenty. And exotic skin bags, SLG with gold&diamond HW. If that is what you are looking for, you are in luck! Otherwise not so much.

when I went there last September, all belts were made in croc, ostrich. They have a lot of buckles for you to choose but NONE normal and regular leather belts.

Birkin? yes, one was on the shelf when I was there and it was meant to be sold too. Croc porosus with diamond hardware. 100K+ euro. No normal birkin/kelly as I was told.

I saw a croc with diamond Birkin too! In black shiny (€160K+) and the matching Kelly wallet, also with diamonds. Locked in the display cupboard but yes definitely were for sell.

I'd love to know my chances of scoring a croc B there without DHW! How likely is it I could get one? Am planning to be there soon..

Thank you much for the info. Look like they have loads of H treasures in monaco. But i'm not really into exotics at the moment yet. But hope i can find something nice there. My dad will be there next week, hopefully i can update some info of what they have in the shop :)
