Hi Niyanjun! My SA told me that the unspoken rule is a spending history of at least 5k with the store. That is if there's no waiting list for that particular birkin. If there is, they normally give it to the one with the higher spending history.

Do u know if garden party count or Evelyn bag? I think I might go for one more Garden party to be close to 5K, I am just so desperate for a Birkin bag, when u said u need to spend 5k at the store,do u mean at the Calgary store or also the toronto one counts ?

I was also told in Calgary..(where I have purchased over 5K) that you may be offered a Birkin at some point, but it needs to be approved from "head office".

@Niyanjun - Yes it's at Calgary store & everything counts including leather goods. So you can definitely get an Evelyn or Garden party.
I suggest you call the store & have a chat with an SA there. They are all very nice.

If you are willing to drop 10k in one shot, it is very possible to score a birkin as a walkin. Otherwise, you will have to build your relationship slowly like the others have suggested.

hehe I actually had spend $16K one shot at this store in the State, had bought 3 bags in total, one is Lindy 34, and two garden party 36 in different color, and some twillies.

but I don't know if they counted, because they all leather handbags?

As far as my knowledge, they are no taking phone order. You have to be present at the store with your CC for payment. If you call them, they will mostly redirect you to online website.

I have only brought a tie from them. Ordinary service. I don't think your purchase history will build into the store though
