Any tips on getting a B or K in Vancouver store?

Just go in....say hello, be very gracious, courteous and respectful. Dont make requests over the phone if they dont know you.
Don't go into the store with any expectations only that you may or may not find something you love.
I went in once, chatted with an SA, then received a call two days later that a bag was available.

I was offered a few different colorways last year, over the phone from the Calgary store, but I had to pass...as they weren't what I was after. I think if you leave them your info, you may get a call back. Good luck

Thank you! May I ask if you have bought a lot of things from the store? I am trying to figure out if I "need" to spend a certain amount of money before they will offer one to me. I have been waiting for about a year now. I have bought a few things there, but maybe I am not hitting their threshold (if there is one).
I did tell them that I am interested in one colorway- but maybe I should go back in there and tell them to call me if anything comes in.
I don't think that it's a specific amount that you need to spend, I'm sure it's just availability. I don't know if the store gets that many....I would just call and inquire, or ask if you are on a "list", if there even is one...and now that the Hermes Canada website is up and running, you may be able to score one on there.
My SA is Jane...she is awesome as well! All the rest of SAs are good...they always try their best to find things that I want...but for B and K, you do have to build up your histroy with them.

I was told that each B or K need to be approved by their CEO (not the store manager) before they can sell them to the customers. Is that true? They offered me a Birkin recently, and I love it so much. However, they told me they will submit my purchase history to CEO next month (Dec.) Will they show this Birkin to the other customers since I said 'yes' for that bag? I'm so worried about it, since there may be someone else love it.

Yes. they used to be approve by Store manager. However since last year they have changed that all B and K required to be approved by CEO. They also have a limit on how many B and K for approval per month! Good luck on your bag!
