Hi ladies!

I am currently in Ireland and will be heading to Dublin tomorrow and go back to London on the 31st. I am looking for Evelyne in size 29 cm, Dublin only have 1 in 33 cm and I'll be checking it out tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm 5'2" , 120 lbs. and petite and I have tried the 29 and thought it's the perfect size, do you think a 33 would look good on me?

Appreciate any inputs on where to find my Evelyne. Been to Harrods but not happy with the colors available.

Thanks a lot!

kelly wallets should be easier if you are not looking for a specific colour, sometimes the SAs do put nice ones at the back for their clients

I'd want a bright color, so hopefully I get lucky!

I'm 5'2" and I like the 29 more. I got lucky at New Bond Street last vacation when I searched for my Evelyne.

Thanks bakeacookie! I'm afraid the 33 will be a little too big.😔

I'll still have to check the 3 other Hermes stores in London and hopefully get lucky before heading back home 🙏🏻

Thanks!

The GM is bigger all around compared to the PM so it just looks huge. Though visit the Evelyne clubhouse for mod shots.

How are the SA in London? Friendly or judging you on your appearance. I Will travel there next week and probably i Will not dress up to do shopping

When I shopped last year in London, I found the SAs in New Bond Street to be very friendly. I had just arrived that morning, so Hermes was pretty much my first stop after dropping off my baggage at the hotel. I had two ladies help me, as this was in their temporary location at the time, and it was very busy. One in the handbags who searched for my Evelyne and sold it to me, another lady who helped me with the enamel bracelets. Other staff was accommodating as well, directing me to the department areas, asking if I needed assistance while I waited for other SAs, etc.

I was also very polite and patient, as it was packed and very busy. Didn't mind waiting as she had to search different storage areas for the bag.

However, my experience in the Selfridges Hermes was the opposite. The SA I asked regarding my Evelyne was very judgy, and I felt like he was looking down on me. He didn't even bother to look for either enamels or the bag, just kinda had his hands behind his back with a smirk on his face. Not a good impression on a customer.

Since it was winter, which is a drastic temperature difference from So Cal, I wore a Barbour coat, Burberry scarf, cashmere sweater, skinny jeans, and Frye boots. Very casual but warm, as I was very cold during my last visit. Also had a Burberry bag on, so I guess the Selfridges SA was basing my spending power on that. Luckily, NBS didn't show any judgement on me, and sold me the items I was searching for.

Hoping to return soon and check out the newly remodeled NBS boutique, and all the others I missed!

HTH.

I agree with bakeacookie - the SAs at New Bond Street are very nice and helpful, though I have heard one very stern SA there tell someone you can't just walk in and get a B. Selfridges has one nice SA. Everyone else there is kind of standoffish. I just kill them with kindness or wait til the nice one is free. :D

Harrods H department is always crazy busy but they are pretty nice if you can find someone who isn't busy helping someone else. Sloane Street is a mixed bag - there were a couple of nice SAs and a couple of grouchy ones, and who is nice or grumpy seems to change every visit. Royal Exchange is TINY but they were completely empty when I visited so they were extremely attentive!

We always dress casually when walking around London (I want to be comfortable and I do not want to have aching feet at the end of the day!) and didn't get any judgmental looks from the SAs.

Ooh, good to know about Sloane and Royal Exchange!

Can't wait to go shopping in London in a few months, so excited!
