I ended up going to the Hermès at Paris CDG instead and got exactly the bag I wanted with no games. First Hermès purchase— I almost missed my flight but honestly? Worth it to not have to deal with rude or evasive hosts or with the buggy and opaque mess that is the website.
Congratulations! What bag did you get at CDG?

I can’t really believe I’m typing this.. but I was offered a black mini Kelly in chèvre with ghw after only making my wish 2 months ago at Selfridges. I’m picking her up over the weekend and can’t wait to share
That’s wonderful - congratulations!! Did you have another wish prior to that? Enjoy the experience of picking the bag up!

Thank you so much! I did, but not for a mini Kelly.. my previous wish was for a K25/K28 and was placed at NBS (where I no longer have an SA so I wasn't expecting much, and as expected, it lapsed.) I met a lovely SA back in May this year at Selfridges and when my wish expired in September, I decided to make a new wish in October with my new SA and changed to a mini Kelly instead. I still can't believe I got the email to say the bag is reserved for me.

To best honest, I really have no tips.. the H system is as clear as mud  I actually met my SA whilst trying to get my hands on the mini Lindy. It was clear they were interested in building a relationship as they offered to share their contact details with me. From there, each time I was interested in making a particular purchase I would contact them beforehand and set up an appointment. I made sure I only contacted them when I was certain I wanted something and after around 4 months, I got my hands on the mini Lindy. About a month after my mini Lindy, I arranged an appointment to make a new wish and here we are. I guess we just clicked from the outset and from the beginning I never really mentioned wanting any QB until after I got my ML so maybe that helped but who knows.

For those that make appointments with your SAs directly, I just revived an email from Hermes Rendezvouz confirming my appointment at Selfridges with my SA. This appointment was made a few weeks ago directly with my SA and I’ve never received such an email confirmation before for any of my appointments. Is that a new thing?

Hmm not sure as I just booked my appt to pick up the mini K this weekend and haven’t received any emails. Do you tend to communicate over email?

It’s very surreal to be posting on this thread but since I’ve read it avidly over the past god only knows how many years whilst dreaming about one day owing a B or K I felt it only right that I shared my ‘journey’ too in case it helps encourage some other newbie just starting theirs.

I walked into H (NBS) for the first time ever this summer to brazenly register a wish list, I was gobsmacked to receive the email last week that they had received a match (159 days since registering my wish, not that I was counting!). Needless to say I arranged to go asap, accepted the offer and am now the very proud owner of a B25 Sellier, Gris Meyer, Veau Madame with PHW.

Just saw two people had their wish fulfilled today at Selfridges, a B25 Sellier and K28 Sellier. Both in a similar grey shade.

Renewed my wish at CP, and also asked for a Constance, Mini Lindy or Mini Evelyne at CP and Selfridges - both fed me the party line that they weren’t expecting to receive more bags until the new year, but you’re more than welcome to continue to try…

Not that I’m bitter of course… LOL.

thanks so much for sharing! I really like the Hermes Roulis bag and this has inspired me to go and put my name down. I have no spending history with Hermes and don’t particularly want to so its nice to know that in some circumstances this is now required. Enjoy your bag!

Thank you! You should absolutely go and ask them about a Roulis (they are gorgeous btw)! I believe the wish lists are only for Birkins and Kelly’s so if they had a Roulis in stock you could potentially walk away with it there and then. Keep us posted. x

I visited CP and Bond st the last 2 days. Both were packed. Almost got a bag at Bond St but the size was too big so I passed. The first 6 people got popular non-QB bags. I was #7 ugh!

Was served by a local SA (judging from the accent) at CP and a non-local one at Bond St.

While the SA at CP was so nice and courteous, the other one was snobbish and didn’t want to engage in conversation. The person doing the check-in on both floors were very nice and polite.
