I am also interested in responses to this and I am going through a similar situations with my SA at NBS. I don’t think they give out WhatsApp numbers, just email addresses. But it’s getting to the point where I tell him I am coming into the store and I don’t get a response. He use to give me short responses and stock check for me but less so now. We probably have the same SA! I haven’t spent as much as you but he did manage to secure my mini Evelyne a few months ago. Not sure if I should start shopping at other boutiques either? But you’re not the only one going through this!
NBS SAs do give out their WhatsApp numbers (mine did), but as with all SAs in whichever store, sometimes you happen to have one that isn’t responsive. If you’re not after a QB, or if you haven’t yet set up a wish/your wish is expiring very soon, I’d suggest switching stores, but if you have a wish at NBS that is still valid for a while or if you have built a substantial spend history there I’d suggest switching SAs within the same store. I also shopped with a few different SAs who were either condescending :annoyed: or unresponsive before being paired with my current one by chance and she is super responsive, helpful and organised.

I'm wondering if they only give WA for a higher tier of spending. I wouldn't be surprised..
I don’t think so, it’s more the relationship you have with the SA or sometimes simply if the SA’s inbox is not too full or unmanageable that makes them decide whether to give their number to you or not. I should also mention that my current SA was already very responsive and helpful via email before she gave me her WhatsApp number, so I don’t think the method of contacting matters. The good thing about NBS being so big is you have a good chance of being paired with an SA you’ve never worked with and can thus ‘shop around’ until you find one you click with

The best thing to do is to ask what your SA prefers. Some SAs Whatsapp me directly back with appointment arrangements on their H issued mobiles/ biz acount, while some do it via email. Both work perfectly well for me and quite far in advance too.

I am visiting london in a few weeks and wondering how the stock is for slgs and hermes espadrilles or avantages? Which london stores would be better to visit if i am lucky enough to get either.

I flying through paris so will try that airport and visiting dublin and Lisbon too.

New Bond Street is the flagship and thus has the most stock, but you can also check out Cadogan Place and Harrods which are a 5-min walk from each other. Also try calling Customer Service to check for stock if you know which specific items/sizes you want, they can check and let you know which store has what so you can plan your visit accordingly. Enjoy London!

Thank you so much and that wonderful customer service will answer regarding that stock.

Hi all.
I have received an unexpected email with the offer of a bag that I'm not sure how I feel about.
B35, Lime, Epsom leather, palladium hardware.
At the time of making my wish I was less knowledgable and quite open to different specs but have since become more specific about what I'm looking for but never had a chance to update my wish.
I will go to see it before making a decision but would love if others could share their thoughts on the spec.

Also wondering... If I politely decline, will I ever have a chance of being offered another bag again? I don't want to end up buying it unless I love it but I'm scared if I say no I'll never have a chance of getting what I truly want.

Also if I go and spend a bunch of money on other things (maybe 3-4k) is there a chance they may happen to have something in the back that I would love instead of this offer? Does that ever happen?

Thanks guys!

B35 can be quite heavy (though maybe Epsom is lighter) and the bright Lime colour on such a big bag can be quite 'in your face' in my opinion, but you should still come to see the bag in person, who knows you might like it! As for your questions in bold, I'd love to know the answers too as my experience with the UK Wishlist system is limited (I bought what I was offered as I liked them). I guess at your appointment it doesn't hurt to try asking if they have another bag that might suit you more (with or without spending on other things like you mentioned). I think though that with the Wishlist system bags that the stores have in the stock room are marked for customers who have also received a similar email to yours, so there might not be anything to offer as an alternative. This is just speculation though.

In any case, if the bag doesn't sing to you, don't get it and also don't worry about whether your chances of getting another offer might be impacted. It's a lot of money and you should only buy what you truly love and will use.

Personally, I'm not very keen on bright colors on big sizes. Considering it is in epsom leather, I reckon it is in sellier style (?), which makes it quite bulky and heavy.

You have nothing to loose by going to the store and see it in person.
If you don't love it, don't buy it. It is quite an investment... but to each to their own.
I'm absolutely confident you will get another offer soon and unless you have a bunch of items on your wishlist that you truly want, I would not spend that amount in the hopes of getting a different offer on the spot.

Can someone answer a couple of questions for me? I am not a Hermes customer, but I've wanted a K25 for the longest time. Does anyone know if you need to be a regular customer to be able to have a wishlist or can a new client have one? Or am I better off trying to get an appointment in Paris eventually? I don't plan on being a regular Hermes customer either, so if in London it's about spending money then I won't bother.

By all means have a look at the bag and see what you think, personally I do not like large bags and the 35 is just that. Lime is a bright colour and I love neutrals so in all honesty I'd thank the SA and politely decline. Perhaps you can speak with them about your wishlist and narrow it down then add sizes and colours you like. Be open and honest hopefully together you can make a list that meets your requirements.

You don't need to be a regular customer to set up a wishlist and some members here have reported being offered bags despite making no/minimal purchases, but then there are also many others who shop regularly and have a good relationship with the SA/store and are still waiting. If you are only after a K25, one of the most popular and hardest to get, but "don't plan on being a regular Hermes customer" and only want to pay retail price, your only option is trying Paris (but having an appointment does not guarantee a bag).

Thank you, I'll definitely try Paris method instead! Since I do not generally like Hermes stuff, I don't want to spend money just to be able to be offered a bag. I'd rather let luck decide, it's only a bag at the end of the day so not something I need.
