Hi, just thought I would give an update on my wishlist journey from a H newbie:

I think I was quite lucky considering that I do not have a purchase history other than one pair of Oran sandals. I placed a wishlist in December, and got an email last weekend saying it has arrived! So I cleared my schedule (obviously) and went into the store and scored my first K! :yahoo:

I still remember walking into that store bcos i genuinely wanted to buy the Sandals and just wanted to try the size. The SA was really lovely, we got into talking about bags and she told me about this wishlist system if i wanted to create one. (Bear in mind that at this point I did not buy the sandals yet.) So of course I said yes, eventhough in my head I honestly thought it will never happen... but dream big people!!!

Congratulations! What size and colour combo did you go for?

@lululemonloaf congratulations on the bag offer! Really pleased for you!

That said, I'm also coming to have a bit of a rant and hope others will indulge me...

I visited the boutique today to have a browse and see what's new. I hadn't booked an appointment with my SA to avoid wasting her time since I wasn't planning on buying anything. But she spotted me, came over and asked me to wait until she was finished with a client. I told her I was just looking around but she insisted I wait so I assumed she had something for me. Anyways 30 minutes later she comes back and asks what I'm after. I tell her nothing specific, though I do have a wishlist bag that I'm hoping will come soon. All of a sudden she became very dismissive and I was out of the store within a couple minutes. No friendly chit chat, nothing...

This is the first time I visited the boutique without buying anything, which I feel I should be able to do, but my SA seems to disagree!

P.S. the boutique wasn't busy at all since alot of H usuals were queuing outside of Chanel for the new collection!

Rant over :-)

I know exactly how you feel- was looking forward to picking up some pre- birthday goodies from Cadogan but that will be on hold as don’t won’t to enter central London’s and with the great weather I’m sure it will be densely packed with lots of maskless people- which makes me nervous

H employees are required to wear face coverings at Cadogan but it's optional for customers...

this seems like mixed signals

obviously your SA did not take you at your word (just looking around)
and assumed that you would be buying something and that was (incorrectly) confirmed in her mind by you waiting around (admittedly, as requested)

had your SA been free when you walked into the store and been able to attend to you, I expect you would have still left without buying anything but not felt that you had done anything inappropriate

oh no! I have some shoes I was going to collect and wanted to make an appointment to look at some other things
Maybe just text or email your SA and tell them roughly when you would be coming? That way they will be expecting you and even if they are busy with another customer they can attend to you as soon as they are available? It will also give them a chance to prepare any items you may be interested in to show you

I will have to do that but it was also depend on how long I will have to queue as I think they are still trying not to overcrowd the store.

I’m a bit annoyed as I like to book appointments for a stress free shopping experience - not to mention with the recent weather I don’t like to be queuing for an unknown amount of time. Does anyone know or any other boutiques are still taking appointments or if it’s just NBS?
