No, it was on a shelf below the Birkin, definitely Barenia Faubourg and had a patterned shoulder strap attached to it. I should have taken a photo!
Ah, noted. That's the reissued Bolide 1923. Pardon my confusion as I was thinking of the regular Bolide and was pretty sure I didn't see any on display in brown tones. In any case, bags in the display case are for display only until the next display change.

)Just want to say I had a lovely visit to the NBS boutique yesterday. I was waiting for my SA to discuss a repair and while waiting at least four different people asked if they could help me and offered me a drink, I had a very interesting chat with a young man about Barenia Faubourg how they make it etc and the customer service was amazing
Wow! A bolide in Barenia Fauborg! That’s so fabulous! I got a B30 in BF. I find the leather so mysterious since it’s new. I like Bond st and wonder how to build a relationship since I don't have abundant funds and not wanting a B/K..ok a K Pochette is very nice that would be HG but they ignored me upstairs and I'd likely never get this bag offered to me due to lack of spend or whatever they use to judge and decide. If it can happen to Oprah it sure will and does happen to me

Totally agree, a KP is the one bag I wanted when I started my H shopping and it’s the one bag that has always eluded me the SM in my store just doesn’t order small bags, though my SA says that she can see one KP in their order system and if it does materialise she has put my name down for it, RP in swift with PHW.
The Oprah incident was last decade and in Paris.
I can live in hope. I know nothing of the Hermes world and naively believed that would be less coveted. I mentioned buying a bag today and someone there said the SA that I dealt with my first purchase would be able to help me with it.
It was funny because he rung it up then said "that name sounds familiar you were with SA the other day..." granted he was likely reading it off screen but it made me feel nice.Right and judgement happens for a number of reasons I've read here of people saying they received better treatment carrying X bag, in certain attire etc but I won't say anything else about it I already know how it is.

I ve been shopping in London here and there and never got a SA that could help me (I always got the “here s my card and plz email me” line but no response whatsoever and the next time I m at the store, I couldn’t seem to find the exact SA(s) and got served by another and made the purchases.... so I literally recognised most of the SA(s) and they recognised me but no one seem to be willing to actually form a relationship lol
P.S. I am not locals but I work in London n I heard that made it difficult for them somehow...
