Hi everyone,

Visiting Barcelona next month and wanted to see if anyone had any luck scoring a BKC in recent months? I don't have any purchase history in Spain...just UK and France which I believe they cannot see.

Went to H in Barcelona today, having shopped in UK only, they could not see my purchase history. I was told that quota bags (BKC) are for locals only through the wishlist system. Sa said they used to have a tourist wishlist where you could put your name down and colour choices and if a local rejected a bag and it fitted your spec then you would get the call. This tourist wishlist only lasted 15 days though. There were no evelynes or picotins, they had aline, exotic bolide, verrou.

I have purchased from them. And all quotas bag is still only for local. If you’re showing a different country passport, they will deny you. Or they will only put you on a 14 days wishlist that in case any local denies offers, you might get a chance. Which i mean they will reach out to all locals in the waitlist first. But they mostly likely dont even do that due to slow stocks. My SA said

They no longer have this 14 day wishlist unfortunately due to low stock when I asked about the tourist wishlist

I bought a variety of items coming up to around 3k euros, the SA offered me an exotic bolide, an aline and a verrou but no BKC as he restated that it was for locals only so I genuinely think they do not offer even if you pre-spend. I did come out very happy though as he offered me the rare Kelly Dolle Charm

I am not sure why they are saying no quota bag offer to tourists. I visited the store in July 2021 and was offered the exact specs on a C18 I requested on my first visit. I have no shopping history in Spain at all. I got the call on day 3 and the box had my name on it. The SM really did enjoy speaking to me on my first day visit and vice versa, I think that did the trick. I say keep trying. Maybe this is a new policy for this year.

They wouldnt say no quota bag to tourist directly like that. But they will say like most bags are due to shortage are reserved for local first. They will try to keep you in mind but the chances are almost 0. Because tourists get restricted with different rule than local, they also can say they no longer have wishlist to start one for you as well. This is since Christmas 2021.
