Quick question to ya'll who shop at Hermes Barcelona boutique. I live in Malaga, my default store is the one in Marbella. They never do any special events (or at least I’m not invited), most of the time they run out of perfume samples, definitely no freebies and I'm wondering is it just us or is it something similar in other Spanish boutiques? I used to shop in another EU Hermes store and it was really different. So I'm trying to understand a) is it me? b) is it a store? or b) in general in Spain they have a different approach to customers.

can u share your experience h in Barcelona pls? Do I get what u wished?
I didn't get anything! There was a line to get in. The man at the door was very nice (i had surgery a few weeks before and was walking with a cane) he let ne sit down to wait. the lady in front of me asked for a picotin and her SA said they only had xyz colors. when it was my turn i asked for picotin-SA said they had none. i asked for herbag he said none. Everything I asked for he said no besides twillies! I was turned off and didn’t buy anything! wen to Dior instead where my presence was appreciated

I was at h in Barcelona and was told by a sa that they only offer b/k/c to local clients. So I didn’t get anything there either.

I live part of the year in Barcelona and was quite a good customer of Hermes there, although most frequently at the now closed Hermes Corte Ingles branch. Over the years I bought many items there, including a few GPs, two Lindy 30s, two Birkin 25s and one Birkin 30. Since that branch closed I have to visit the one in central Barcelona and have had basically no luck with much of anything. I went last in January 2025 and the attitude there is just so unpleasant. Perhaps it was because it was post-Christmas but their stock of pretty much everything was greatly depleted. The specialized bag SA I was handed off to seemed to have actual disdain for me. They must have a group of preferred customers and clearly I am not in it. I would say if you are visiting Barcelona and really hope for a bag then spend big. Like very big. It might help. I have never and will never buy anything from Hermes that I truly don't want either for myself or as a gift for someone else. And at the moment there isn't much at all that I want.

Hi everyone! I go to Barcelona every year for the past 10 years - however until recently, I didn’t ever shop in H there, just stuck to my home store in London.

Now we get VAT back and the € price is cheaper than £ so I’ve bought just a pair of Oran and a Twilly in Barcelona last year.

I’m going again in April - I am hoping to buy some more sandals and maybe Twilly and belt. Not expecting any bags (quota 100% not and even non quota). However, if they don’t have my size or the items I’m looking for, I would still like to take advantage of the € price by purchasing online and do store pick up or deliver to my hotel. Unfortunately I’m only there for a few days so I’d have to order before I go. So I think to be efficient, if I could find an SA to check stock beforehand I can wait to purchase in store or decide to order online.

TLDR; does anyone have an SA contact so I can maybe check stock of a few items so I can make sure I make the most of the exchange rate (and possible VAT refund)? TIA!

I am visiting Barcelona in May - Was hoping to pick up the Chypre sandals. Was wondering if anyone is aware of the stock levels in Barcelona?

TIA
Sorry, late to answer but when I went in April, it was awful.

Over an hour long queue and hardly any stock. Didn’t have basic Oran sandals. They had Chypre in black and white and exotics.
Twillys were even super low. Only a couple of Kelly belts but all in PHW.
I couldn’t even spend to try and ask for a bag but pretty sure non quota bags were all gone and QBs are for locals.
