I am sure you are just quoting honestly what someone else is telling you, but I seriously doubt it…I'm going through my mind the current people, and I'm sorry I don't really believe it to be true right now.

People have all kinds of motivation for saying things that are true or untrue, especially disgruntled ex-employees.

That is your prerogative. I am not quoting what someone else is telling me. I am relaying what I was told by employees of Hermes. I was also told this by other customers. One of whom did pay for bags

I think you were told this by an ex-employee, no? I think this is what you said earlier: "This same thing has happened at the NYC store with me and others: I believe the bags are sold to other customers. This was hinted at to me by a sales assoc who left soon after (on their own) as they were so disgusted by the stores "policies"

Not only franchise stores take bribes for Birkin. I know two SA at Madison Avenue and one at New Jersey who take <gifts> for Birkin/Kelly (special bags)

This is absolutely true. I was told by sales people at Hermes Madison that it was being done and by whom. I was told the same thing by others as well. This is not a secret.

Are you saying now or in the past?

This may be why people are fired sometimes...

Now and in the past. It has been going on a long time. They are still there. (I was told who to pay and how much...)

No way!
This doesn't surprise me. Would explain the previous threads about what to gift your SA and price caps on such gifts. These bags are such high demand, I could totally see a few Benjamins being passed in the process to secure a purchase. This of course would put both people at risk (SA/SM - their job, customer - being blackballed) but who am I to say what is right and wrong.

No I was told by two employees. One is gone and one is still there. I was told this explicitly. And there are two others who hinted at it and they are there as well. This conversation was between employees and myself and another customer/friend. You don't have to believe me. I don't care. I am just telling my direct experiences. This sort of thing had been reported on many times at many stores. My only experience is the NYC store

That is a serious accusation and I would be really surprised if it were the case...

Hi dear, unfortunately, it is not a lie, nor a secret anymore....
It's absolutely true. No heresay-theresay-theysay here. No secret either that in Paris, some (not all) SAs carry bags (mostly crocs) from store at the end of the day. A person I know did it - met the SA at Bristol and bribed him there over coffee. When we are at it. Was I supposed to report a person I know? Never. Although I may not agree with this.

Same goes for Vienna- i personally know people who bribed and got bags. Did I report these practices? Yes. Of course I did not mention the people I know, but I wrote the details and facts in the letter I sent to H officials.
I also said bags are given to different people from who ordered them. And yes- all these things are happening not only at franchise stores, but all stores. My particular and a very bad (at the least) experience, however, was with this particular store, hence the title of this thread.
The more dissapointing for me, as I was a very good client- still have all the paragon (!!!) receipts for the ton of stuff we bought there.
I still feel this topic/thread to be useful and very much alive and so I would kindly like to ask anyone who has any (both good and bad) experience with this store, or has any knowledge on this matter of Hermes Vienna to share it here 😊⭐️🌺✌️
