Yes I did and I didn’t like it ... I didn’t like the strap and more importantly, the price tag to be completely honest.

Also I was offered a c24 a few days ago at my London store before my trip so I could not justify a 2002 in my collection right now.

For me personally I find Constance more versatile! I prefer the strap design of a Constance or Roulis

and here is a pic of the interior

Review: The bag is gorgeous and the interior and exterior pockets make it easy to stay organized. It is probably bigger than a C18, but the usable space isn't much different since the 2002 is narrower but taller than the C18. I use the second smallest Goyard zip pouch for make-up in all of my small bags below 24 cm, including this one. I can carry all of my daily needs in the 2002, but that isn't much for me (small atout pouch, make-up pouch, car key, iphone 7, and reading glasses). The clasp takes practice, but I got the hang of it after a few times. It is great day to night, and looks beautiful in bright colors. I like that the strap has three lengths. The longest is a little shorter than the C18. I think most people will prefer the Constance and Roulis because (1) we are used to them, and (2) those bags open much wider. I bought the bag for the visual effect rather than functionality. I'm very happy with it.

i like this bag. I'm wondering if the size 20 can be worn cross body. Does anyone know what the strap drop length is at the longest setting?
TIA!
I tried it on the other day. I'm 5'4" (162 cm) and about 125 lbs. I also have a long-ish torso. I could wear the bag cross body, but only if I wasn't wearing a coat. There is not any extra length to the strap that can be punched with an extra hole to increase the strap drop. I think that success in wearing this bag cross body would depend a lot on how busty you are.

I saw this bag for the very first time at the store yesterday. It's the 20 cm version in Magnolia Evercolor. I have to say the bag looks a lot better in person than it is in pics, and I'm not even a Magnolia fan. It looks really nice worn on the shoulder, and when I tried cross-body (with the strap at the longest setting) it actually sat better on my hip than my C24 (which I had at the time, so was able to compare).

The buckle is a bit fussy and difficult to open and close, but the external pocket to me is a game changer. For practicality purposes, I would still put it below my R23.

And lastly, I am still not a fan of the price, so I'm sure I won't be adding one to my collection any time soon.

Thanks for the detailed review. While I do like this bag, it was not the highest on my list. As my SA puts it, it is not a quota bag and it will be easy for me to get one if I really want it. After reading this, I think it has gone lower on my list.

The main driving force of me still wanting it was probably to get a reaction out of my DH. He played the "name that bag" game with me when we were waiting for the opera to start in NYC a few months ago. Hermes had an add of the 2002 bag on the back cover of the program notes. I named the bag and his jaws dropped. I have since figured out that he only knows how to identify the shape of Birkin and Constance. Ha ha ha.

I love the design of the bag but it is sooooo incredibly heavy by itself. I tried putting in my compact bearn wallet, bastia, keys, iphone, lip balm, and it weighed a ton. I'm still on the fence about it since I no longer can tolerate having bricks on my shoulders :-s
