IMHO, save the cost of MOP for your next Rolex purchasing. I do not think $1700 extra for that white MOP is worthy.

Ceya, thanks for that link...it is very helpful, and, by the way, your watches are gorgeous! Yours, too, Chanel Girl! Seeing both of yours, one with MOP, one with Silver still leaves me in my dilemma, which it seems I share with larissajay. How do you plan to make your decision, larissajay. If I knew without a doubt that the all stainless jubilee would be as "classic" 10 years from now, I would probably get the MOP; however, I can't help but wonder if yellow gold is going to make a big come back, and then I'll wish I hadn't invested so much in an all stainless. (By the way, what does Dh stand for??)
I also had the same dilemma concerning all white metal vs. 2-tone. At this point I definitely prefer the sleekness of the stainless and white gold but the great thing about Rolex is that you can always trade in eventually in the long run for the 2-tone. The bezel is also always 18k gold, its 18k white gold, not stainless

I've seen a Rolex owned by one TPFers ( so sorry, forgotten the thread ), she has this wonderful Rolex with only 2 or 3 diamond markers dial. Does Rolex have this spec, MOP dial with only few diamonds ( this may sound stupid, but I'm in the process of learning about Rolex). I love love MOP with off course diamonds markers, but DH doesnt have the 'approval look', yet. So perhaps, a SS jub bracelet, white MOP with only few diamond markers could 'justify' the price tag, a bit...?? LOL! Any suggestion, ladies...?

Here's mine, I don't have the jubilee bracelet. It's not quite as girly as the other styles, but I find it works well anyway. I really love it because it's so versatile.
I prefer pink face, roman numerals in any form of steel bracelet. I have two-tone ladies oyster perpetual as a gift from my DH, he bought it 10 years ago but up until today I still enjoy using it. Recently, we had our Rolexes serviced from the service center, we must've spent a lot for the overhaul but it's still worth the price.
Yes, Rolex does make what called is golddust mop with 2 diamonds, but its price is the same with full diamond marker on regular dial. I have seen one, it does not look that good for my taste.
I was told that once you have had your Rolex for a while, probably at least 5 years, the price has increased several times and you can trade in your watch for a different style. If you do this too soon after you purchase it though it is pretty costly. Does the road though it's a great option...
LJSmom88 - I negotiated 15% because one authorized dealer had them for 20% but no financing. So when I tried to get that deal at the store with financing, they said they only give 10% off. When I told them about the 20% place and gave them a name (hopefully they won't get in trouble) I was offered a split down the middle and got 15% but zero interest for 12 months. But I will have it paid off long before then cause otherwise you get hit really hard!
I have 3, but I have owned a few others in the past. I had a gents Sub, gents Explorer II and a gents DJ. I love large watches, but the Sub and the Exp were just a bit too big. I wish I still had the DJ but I gave it to my father.

Actually, I have a ladies diamond Tag Aquaracer that I am going to list on Ebay and diamondbistro this week. I hope to use the funds towards another gents DJ.
I have other watches (Roadster, a couple of swatch and a citizen charm bracelet purse watch), but Rolex has always been my favorite.
